The location is fantastic, and although I didn't know what board games they had, the manager kindly explained everything to me! They had a drink bar with hot drinks, so it was a very comfortable place to be! I'd love to come again!

The owner and regulars are terrible. It's better if you go as a group, but there are better places nearby.

There are a lot of games, a drink bar is included, and the prices are reasonable. It might be best not to bring too many people.

Sharing a table makes it cheaper, and regulars will give you tips on how to play the games. It was my first time meeting the person I shared a table with, but he was very friendly.

It has a wide variety of games, is clean, reasonably priced, and is close to the station. It's a great board game cafe.

They're organized by category, making it easy to find the game you're looking for. I played several games, and for every game, the cards were sleeved, and the pieces and other items were individually packaged in zip-top bags with labels affixed. It was clear that they're beginner-friendly and take great care with their items. Bringing drinks isn't allowed, but you can order from the drink bar. Snacks are fine as long as you're not playing a board game. I went during Golden Week, and the seats were full by 2:00 PM. During peak seasons, it's best to go right after opening or make a reservation (though there were reserved seating signs, so reservations are probably possible). Sharing a table is cheaper, so if you're comfortable with that, I recommend it! Show less

The shop is located right after crossing the crosswalk after exiting the ticket gate at Kobe-Sannomiya Station. It's right in front of you when you go up the escalator next to the pachinko parlor, and there's a sign in front of the street, so you won't get lost. When I went there on a weekday, there were two other groups of customers, one of whom was willing to share a table. This shop encourages sharing a table, and apparently there's a discount if you do. I was accompanied by Everdale, who I'd wanted to play for a while. The rules are that the manager will install the game for you when he's free. There were shelves along the walls of the floor with all kinds of games lined up. There was a sign saying "preparation in progress" in one place, and board games were piled up in storage cases. I asked if they could play, and they said that some games couldn't be installed, but they could be played. They also call in advance to ask if they have XX, and if they have it, they'll bring it out for you. I wonder if the location of Sannomiya and the fact that Jankara is above it have something to do with it? There were also a few couples who looked like university students and young office workers among the customers who came later. The only alcohol they serve is beer, so I think it's a place for people who want to have a casual time. I think it's a pretty welcoming place. Next time I'll go on a weekend. Show less

A great spot to take kids on a Sunday afternoon. There’s a nice selection of games and a drink bar with refills. I recommend looking at their website beforehand, decide on a game and watch some YouTube how-to-play videos to prepare
