I discovered this place accidentally. First what I saw was price. 8$/h for first hour and 6$/h for additional hour. My first thought was : quite expensive especially when in Richmond you pay 4$/h. But HEY!!! It's Downtown they are open everyday till 1 am and their computers are masterpieces. With GTX 1080ti and major brand mouse (razer deathadder) keyboard (corsair k55 RGB ) 144hz monitor (benq xl2411z) and the best headset for gaming (sennheiser gear ZERO) i understand the price. Furthermore I talked with owner and they offer the membership: you prepaid 50$ and have 10 hours means 5$/h. They have also 100$ and 200$ prepaid so you can save even more money. Place is great clean and silent so you can focus on your favourite game , almost all top games are already installed on pc so you don't need to worry about anything. I definitely recommend this place for my friends and people who's looking in Downtown the great gaming cafe !!! Show less

I discovered this place accidentally. First what I saw was price. 8$/h for first hour and 6$/h for additional hour. My first thought was : quite expensive especially when in Richmond you pay 4$/h. But HEY!!! It's Downtown they are open everyday till 1 am and their computers are masterpieces. With GTX 1080ti and major brand mouse (razer deathadder) keyboard (corsair k55 RGB ) 144hz monitor (benq xl2411z) and the best headset for gaming (sennheiser gear ZERO) i understand the price. Furthermore I talked with owner and they offer the membership: you prepaid 50$ and have 10 hours means 5$/h. They have also 100$ and 200$ prepaid so you can save even more money. Place is great clean and silent so you can focus on your favourite game , almost all top games are already installed on pc so you don't need to worry about anything. I definitely recommend this place for my friends and people who's looking in Downtown the great gaming cafe !!! Show less

There are 2 staff (that I know of), the first (tall white male) is a very nice guy and he will answer any questions or requests you have with no problem. Second guy (average height Indian male) speaks next to 0 english. Trying to communicate with him is like talking to a brick wall, and he gets frustrated whenever you try and ask him a question and you can't understand his answer or he does not understand what you ask Example: I asked for 2 hours on PC and he almost charged me for 3 hours, mistakes happen no big deal just take off the extra hour. When I asked him about it he got snippy and seemed confused. I had to repeat I only wanted 2 hours about 7 times until he understood what I meant. Gaming there is a fun time and Good equipment , a tad pricey but overall a good atmosphere once you actually start playing. Show less

Very clean and nice atmosphere. PCs are top notch. Runs every game at ultra settings and smooth even tho XBOX PVR is not turned off. First couple experiences were a little diasapointing as the systems were not upto date so had to install or update game each time to login and default keyboard was arabic, but since those mistake was fixed i can say nothing but great things about this place. Host fixed issues quickly and readded time where problem occured. Even tho my frustration towards the system the host gave great service with smile. Show less

System is capable of running MW2 (2022) edition fairly well with the rtx3080 powering it. There is about 20 pcs in the place, no noise cancelling head phones so if you have a bloke who screams when he does as we did you can hear everything. A little expensive considering OS NYC was $20 for the day this was $9 per hour. Very little choice in snacks, some bags of chips and a selection of mars bars etc. This place will scratch your itch but Dont expect too much. Show less

Fantastic place. Cheaper than a different pc internet cafe. My go to for casual gaming. They also have a playstation there for any console gamers. The PCs can handle games and are pretty good. Few performance issues can happen but that is all there is usually. Employees there are pretty nice and try to accommodate as best they can. 3 things that are downsides. 1. A few times, my pc blue screened while gaming. 2. Games crashed few times for me. 3. There are some extremely loud boys there who will holler, scream, and punch their desk. I will not say which ones but they are always the same few with the same language. Best to turn up your volume and listen to music while gaming. Can get incredibly annoying. Something to consider for improvement is maybe introducing barriers or ways to close off the noise while gaming. It wont make sitting there become torture through all the noise. Show less

Additionally I just called the cafe this morning and asked "How much to use a computer?" And was told "7.50 plus tax" I asked "Are there any additional fees?" And was told "Just 7.50 plus tax." Once I asked "How come when I came in last night you told me I need to pay 200 dollars?" The fellow was tripping over his words and acting like he just conveniently forgot to mention this policy. Either they started this policy yesterday or they are discriminating. I used to come in every day during the lockdown and things were wonderful. As someone who has spent over 1,000 hours gaming here, I can confidently say it’s hands down the best spot for any serious or casual gamer. The environment is always clean, welcoming, and naturally never too crowded, making it the perfect place to really immerse myself in gaming. The owner went above and beyond by downloading my favorite game, Mortal Online 2, on all the computers, and the hardware here handles it effortlessly, in super high FPS, plus the quality headsets, monitors, and competitive-quality mice and keyboards. What sets this place apart from other cafes I checked out in Vancouver is the level of care they put into every detail. The owner and staff are meticulous about sanitizing each station — from the keyboards to the headsets — which, for someone who spends as much time here as I do, is a huge plus and incredibily appreciated. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and service you get, and after more than 1,000 hours here, I prefer this place over any other gaming cafe in Metro Vancouver. If I had to offer any suggestions, it would be to expand the food selection a bit. It would also be amazing if they stayed open overnight (24 hours) on weekends — even just once a week would be a game changer. Overall, it's all good vibes and 5Fifty Game is always my go-to spot. The environment is always clean, welcoming, and naturally never too crowded, making it the perfect place to really immerse myself in gaming. They have a pretty good set up here every pc is running a 4070ti with intel 13700K cpu and 32gb of ram with 240hz 1080p monitor. Can flawlessly get 400-500fps in most competitive shooters. They have a pretty good set up here every pc is running a 4070ti with intel 13700K cpu and 32gb of ram with 240hz 1080p monitor. Can flawlessly get 400-500fps in most competitive shooters. I did run into some network issues in Valorant where the game detected me as AFK even though I was loaded in to the match and also experienced some skipping where I teleported in the opening rounds. But that problem went away after a while so didn’t affect me that much after a couple of minutes. The internet speed is also really fast at 1.8G download and 2.5G upload so definitely no issues on that front. I stayed for around 1 hour late at night after 22:30 on a Sunday, and it wasn’t crowded and only costed $11 after tips so really worth it imo if you need a setup while travelling or just want to compensate for lacking home set up. (Forgot to snap pics inside of the computer set ups but just shows that I was too immersed in gaming. Pc peripherals kinda dusty and inside of the pc definitely hasn’t been cleaned but it doesn’t affect gameplay. Drinks also available at front and the manager/owner was really friendly.) Show less

I did run into some network issues in Valorant where the game detected me as AFK even though I was loaded in to the match and also experienced some skipping where I teleported in the opening rounds.
