Plus points: the shop is beautifully decorated, spacious and airy. Matcha is delicious. The board games are very well-invested, plentiful and interesting. There are cute staff who play the guitar for us to sing:)) Minus points: the staff's attitude is not good. One guy gave instructions in a low voice, not enthusiastic, I had to try hard to listen. Another guy still slept on the sofa after the guests came in?? We sat and played for about an hour before he got up and served other guests. Will come back but hope the shop will train the staff again ❤️ Show less

Plus points: the shop is beautifully decorated, spacious and airy. Matcha is delicious. The board games are very well-invested, plentiful and interesting. There are cute staff who play the guitar for us to sing:)) Minus points: the staff's attitude is not good. One guy gave instructions in a low voice, not enthusiastic, I had to try hard to listen. Hello Arata Coffee and readers who are reading this review. After 3 times visiting the shop to play Blood On The Clocktower, I can give an overall assessment of the experience. Out of courtesy, praise first and then criticize. TL:DR: Worthwhile experience The first time I came to the shop, I was quite surprised because I didn't think... there would be so many board game players, so in my opinion, this is an ideal place to gather board game players if you are alone like me. Second, the drinks are from average to high (I am picky about food so you can see this as a big plus), the only problem is that the first and second times I played, I had iced tea, but the third time, I didn't have any. While playing Blood, there were many discussions and everyone played for a long time, so I was thirsty at night when my drinks were gone. If possible, the shop could have some cakes ready so that when people play too late and are hungry, they can buy them directly there when the staff has finished working hours. The third thing I really like about playing Botc here is the friendly oldbie group, they slowly explained all my questions about the rules, the background and the stories surrounding Botc, making me really immersed in the story/background of the game, making me feel like this is really the "Village" that I wanted when playing werewolf before, probably because everyone also has a love for board games so it is very easy to talk to each other. I would like to send my deep thanks to Game Master T and C, who led the game to be interesting as well as slowly explained the questions of the newbies playing for the first time as well as the oldbies there who played Botc with me and the staff. It was truly an unforgettable experience in life for a game/boardgame addict like me. In short, this was my first place to join a boardgame group and is an ideal place for solo players like me. If you are a board game lover, you can come here to experience some games, I am sure this is not a bad place to experience However, sometimes when participating in the game, there may be some situations that make the atmosphere not as comfortable as expected. However, we hope that we will always maintain respect to bring better experiences. Because new players (newbies) are often in a mixed group or experiencing the game for the first time, sometimes veteran gamers are too absorbed in the game and forget that there are newbies in the group. This can make them feel confused and unable to figure out how to play. Moreover, because it is a mixed group, when communicating, we often use familiar words as if we were old friends, which newcomers may not understand or feel uncomfortable with. These words can make them feel unhappy, reducing their spirit when playing. If possible, I think there should be 1 person who acts as an advisor to accompany the newbies in the first play along with the GM to coordinate, it will be ok when the number of players is larger than expected. Game masters always do their job from good to very good, but also need to pay attention to these situations to promptly remind and adjust the atmosphere, helping everyone become more comfortable, not too tense, just a little tense, hihi. P/s: if you are a new player, don't feel self-conscious or sad because you were cheated. You should feel happy because you were cheated, only then will you understand the game more and more and feel more interesting because you discover a gameplay and strategy when using that character. For example, when I play some characters, after being cheated, I realize that this character has this weakness, and can play like this after the game review ends and the oldbie points out the points to do when playing that character. Price: 5/5 - During happy hour, board games are free, only drinks and food are charged. - During paid hours, I think it's reasonable at 70k, including a game and one drink, with no time limit. - Instant noodles + sausage 25k. Great! :> - The bear-shaped cookies are also delicious, but I don't remember the price or if they're still selling them. - I recommend the jasmine milk tea (or something like that, it's usually written on a chalkboard at the order counter). It's really delicious! Staff: 5/5 - The staff are very enthusiastic and lovely. - Sometimes, when it's very busy, the staff might take a little longer to prepare drinks, but they'll ask for your understanding and patience. - The game host is easy to understand and enthusiastically advises customers on games. Atmosphere: 4.5/5 - The place is a bit crowded, the space is small, cute, and clean. If you're going with a large group on weekends/peak hours, you should book a table in advance through the restaurant's page. - The air conditioning gets a bit hot around 2-3 pm. - There are tables for groups of 2, 4, 8, 10... There's also a private room, but I haven't tried it yet, so I can't review it. - The restrooms are clean.
