I started to play D&D one year ago, and for my first ever campaign, I decided to go with Badwolf. Ever since then, I have not regretted that choice, everyone that works here is very professional, and make the game really fun and easy to play. I have been in the same campaign, for that year, played two characters, and have even played in some interview games. I recently started to play another campaign every other Friday. Would I recommend Badwolf to others? I always do. 10/10 everyone is amazing! Show less

Ever since then, I have not regretted that choice, everyone that works here is very professional, and make the game really fun and easy to play. Badwolf Adventure Studios exceeded every expectation I had for it. I booked a 6-person one-shot Dungeons & Dragons campaign for my wife's birthday, and of the 6 party members, only 1 of us had played before. Our dungeon master (Ben) did an excellent job not only of running the game in every sense, but suiting the experience to our low experience level. That said, it was clear he knew the game forwards and backwards, such that I have every expectation more seasoned players would find what they're looking for in a DM, too. My boyfriend and I were in the area and we saw signs for the Badwolf cafe and we have never been, so we decided to stop for coffees. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be coming back. I’ve read other reviews and it seems like this is an awesome place to play games, and that’s great, but as a non-game player I was just looking for a nice place to get some good coffee because this is fairly close to my home. The employees were very nice, the place was very clean but the service just took so long. My boyfriend and I had some time but we also had places to be so I was a little frustrated by the end of the time there. Based on the time listed on the receipt from when we ordered, we waited 18 minutes to get two coffees. I get that it is a small operation but I was not expecting such a long wait… very disappointed because when you pay $7-$8 for a drink and with a tip you expect 5.. maybe 10 minutes ya know? By the time I got my coffee I just didn’t even want it anymore. Just a bummer because it was my first impression and I don’t know if I’d come back or recommend the place since I don’t think myself or my friends would enjoy that. Maybe I just came on a bad day? My boyfriend and I were in the area and we saw signs for the Badwolf cafe and we have never been, so we decided to stop for coffees. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be coming back. I’ve read other reviews and it seems like this is an awesome place to play games, and that’s great, but as a non-game player I was just looking for a nice place to get some good coffee because this is fairly close to my home. The employees were very nice, the place was very clean but the service just took so long. My boyfriend and I had some time but we also had places to be so I was a little frustrated by the end of the time there. Came here for a beginners DND session, and while there was nothing overtly wrong with what was presented, our session was completely devoid of any roleplay. Not sure if my experience was a one-off or usual, and also not an experienced tabletop player. Came here for a beginners DND session, and while there was nothing overtly wrong with what was presented, our session was completely devoid of any roleplay. There wasnt even the cliche of "hey you all meet in a tavern", it was quite literally character creation (which was streamlined and not very custom) straight to a combat encounter. I understand that the focus with a beginner session is on mechanics, but I'd argue that a good 60% of DND is roleplay, which there was quite literally 0 of in my session. Not a bad place as far as I could tell, employees were very kind and eager to answer any questions, but my experience with the beginner session was lacking in the roleplay aspect, in my opinion. Prices for sessions are pretty reasonable though! Show less

I then purchased a Nostalgix Booster Box (one of my new favorite tcg) and was given two FREE welcome decks so I could introduce my wife and I into the world of Magic as well. I’m hoping to attend an event one day when I’m free for Nostalgix.
