3 months agoIt's a real shame the ambient noise is so incredibly loud; you can't hear yourself think, and it makes playing a board game very difficult. The concept seemed great at first, but I'm disappointed. The à la carte offering is very standard and efficient, I'd say.

25 days agoFinally, a board game bar where they take the time to explain a game to you, even on a Friday night AND even when it's crowded. Otherwise, you might as well stay home and play. I think I've said it all.

3 months agoDefinitely one of the best board game bars in Toulouse, and I mean it. It's a relaxed atmosphere, the place is beautiful, and there are tons of games to try with friends. All this while enjoying a drink, and the evening gets off to a great start!

First, the layout leaves much to be desired: the tables are very close together, with no real space between them (constant and significant noise...), and seem arranged solely to maximize profits at the expense of customer comfort. Second, the service is subpar. Upon arrival, we received no explanation of how the place worked (available games, payment rules, etc.). Furthermore, the servers' attitude was unwelcoming, giving the impression that they were only there to encourage us to buy more. Finally, after staying all afternoon, we were asked to leave because we had been there too long, which is particularly surprising and unpleasant for a board game bar. A disappointing experience. 1 month agoI was familiar with François Verdier's, which is smaller and older. This one is super spacious, pleasant, and the snacks are good. It's not too noisy, and there's rarely a wait for the games. I recommend it!

25 days agoGreat, spacious place. And best of all, there's an activity leader who explains and advises on the games. He really looked after us. It was fantastic. He told us he's there on Thursdays and Fridays. We'll definitely be back!!

2 months agoGreat experience! My first time at a board game bar, as there aren't any in our area. A good selection of games, snacks and drinks available—I'll definitely be back! The staff was very welcoming. The only downside was the coldness due to the entrance door; it's best to sit at the back.

One star for the location, the rest is awful! The service and the business really need improvement. The man who seems to be the manager is extremely unpleasant (to put it mildly). He barely listens to his customers. He refused to give us a receipt showing the price (how are we supposed to know if it's correct?), he's not friendly, passive-aggressive, and when we politely asked him why we were paying €2 more than at other places, he said, "Just go somewhere else." His excuse was that €11 is the same as €14?! We had to remain calm because he was truly disrespectful. He even rolled his eyes when we politely asked for three slices of bread. Out of four food choices, half were out of stock on a Thursday at 8 pm. They manage their service very poorly. Furthermore, the prices are far too high for the quality and quantity. It's pointless to make a reservation because there's no guarantee of getting a table; it's almost impossible. In short, a truly unpleasant experience. We will not hesitate to return, and we will not hesitate to tell others never to come. Show less

He barely listens to his customers. 5 months agoA great place to relax and play board games all afternoon. You should know that you have to pay a fee to access the games, but it's well worth it; it allows you to discover the games before buying them in a friendly, incredibly beautiful setting. We're recommended if needed.
