I was looking for an old school throw back arcade/piazza joint. Black Dog fit the bill. My exceptions for the quality of the pizza was low. in this day and age where everything is miserable cause everyone is offended by everything i just wanted to go for the vibe and throw back to my childhood when i spent tons of time at arcades. when people looked for reasons to help each other and be happy instead of an excuse to be miserable and tear each other down. I took a bit of the pizza and was blown away. the pizza here is very, very good. I did not play any video games but they have some great old school games mixed in with some ps5 games as well so best of both worlds. The wife and i did not play any video game as we juts bought a new computer and have plenty of games on that. Even if you are like us and not interested in playing the games i still highly recommend you sit down and eat in instead of carry out. the vibe and the staff are amazing. not very places you go to where all the employees you see are happy. another thing i enjoyed (again old school) was they had the stand in the middle of the table where the seat the pizza on sort of like Pizza Hut or Pizza Inn did in the 80s and 90s . I have been to some fancy pizza joints this year that never did that. Black Dog will definitely be in the wife and My date night rotation. Show less

My exceptions for the quality of the pizza was low. in this day and age where everything is miserable cause everyone is offended by everything i just wanted to go for the vibe and throw back to my childhood when i spent tons of time at arcades. when people looked for reasons to help each other and be happy instead of an excuse to be miserable and tear each other down. I’ve gone here a couple of times before to attend the Trivia Nights they have on Wednesdays. Those are very fun and I always have a great time; the staff are friendly and helpful. The wings have lots of meat on them and taste great, the pizza is pretty good. My only real complaint is the frozen drin... Read more

I’ve gone here a couple of times before to attend the Trivia Nights they have on Wednesdays. Those are very fun and I always have a great time; the staff are friendly and helpful. The wings have lots of meat on them and taste great, the pizza is pretty good. My only real complaint is the frozen drinks. The frozen margaritas (such as the mango, strawberry, blue Hawaiian freeze) all taste like a regular margarita. The syrup they put in the freezes to make it taste like something doesn’t taste like anything and isn’t mixed into the drink at all. They are very cheap ($3 during happy hour) so you could say the price matches the quality. Otherwise, the food is great, the place is relatively clean, and the staff are very nice. 👍 I have never tried attending the actual arcade because it doesn’t look like a lot of games and it gets pretty crowded in the small arcade space. Pizza was good not great. Looks like a change ownership or management. Went a year ago and the place was always full and food very memorable. Today not so much. It was empty with no atmosphere.
