I never really knew what Mead was until I visited Blom and wow, it is delicious!! There are so many unique mead flavors and also craft ciders. My favorite is the Pear Ginger cider and my husband always orders the Rhubarb mead. But recently we discovered their Switchel (non-alcoholic vinegar and honey soda, sounds weird but so yummy!) and the kids LOVE this super refreshing/rehydrating drink. Nice casual picnic tables outside are perfect for hanging out after an afternoon walking around Ann Arbor. Show less

I never really knew what Mead was until I visited Blom and wow, it is delicious!! There are so many unique mead flavors and also craft ciders. My favorite is the Pear Ginger cider and my husband always orders the Rhubarb mead. But recently we discovered their Switchel (non-alcoholic vinegar and honey soda, sounds weird but so yummy!) and the kids LOVE this super refreshing/rehydrating drink. What a wonderful addition to the Ann Arbor culinary scene. This is no average bar. As an Ann Arborite of more than 7 years, this has been one of the best new spots to come along in quite some time. Matt, the owner (along with his wife), is personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. We stopped in today for the first time and had a flight recommended by the staff and ended up ordering a few more drinks along with their local chocolate selection. They offer yoga on Sundays and will soon offer bike repairs along with other various community events. They encourage you to bring in your own food and offer board and table games to enjoy the night and also play funny movies on their projector. I heartily recommend you try Blom. Show less

Matt, the owner (along with his wife), is personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. We stopped in today for the first time and had a flight recommended by the staff and ended up ordering a few more drinks along with their local chocolate selection. There's a list of events hosted at Blom, my favorite: the teacher happy hour and yoga session which I plan to return for (yoga, yay). Tried the build your own flight - included: the Rhubarb Mead, Standard Mead, Apple Cyser, and the Pear Ginger Cider. All were good! I did sample the Stone Fruit Coriander and Raspberry Mead before heading out and those were definitely my favorite!! Highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in Ann Arbor! There's a list of events hosted at Blom, my favorite: the teacher happy hour and yoga session which I plan to return for (yoga, yay). We held a casual wedding welcome party at Blom a few weeks ago, and we had an amazing experience! The owner, Lauren, was so easy to work with. We rented out the private room and catered food. It's so hard to find a space in downtown Ann Arbor where you can have a casual party, and Blom is such a won... Read more

We held a casual wedding welcome party at Blom a few weeks ago, and we had an amazing experience! The owner, Lauren, was so easy to work with. We rented out the private room and catered food. It's so hard to find a space in downtown Ann Arbor where you can have a casual party, and Blom is such a wonderful third space where people can gather. We had about 40 people come and go throughout the evening, and the staff kept an open bar tab throughout our party and even after when people were still mingling. We also had about 8 young kids join us, and they all had a great time playing board games. The staff were so helpful and kind! I highly recommend Blom for parties and gatherings! Show less
