They keep charging me week over week for a game that I rented. No one responds to my customer support emails and I have now paid over $100 to rent a game. Stay away!!! My girlfriend and I have been renting games from here for a couple months now, and they have great staff that are knowledgeable and accomodating. They put in lots of prep work into their rented games, sleeving all the cards and laminating all the instructions. They also have a great loyalty points program as well as very reasonable prices if you want to renew for another week. They also occassionally have great discounts and promos, including on games you can buy to own. The recommendations from them are always great, and the shelves are organized based on genre (they have a shelf for couples too). These people are by far the most passionate in the city when it comes to board game rentals. Show less

My girlfriend and I have been renting games from here for a couple months now, and they have great staff that are knowledgeable and accomodating. They put in lots of prep work into their rented games, sleeving all the cards and laminating all the instructions. They also have a great loyalty points program as well as very reasonable prices if you want to renew for another week. They also occassionally have great discounts and promos, including on games you can buy to own. You can rent games in store or have them delivered to your house for quite cheap ($5 or less), and they'll pick up the games for the same price. Had to opt for pick up cause I was out of the delivery area but they accommodated me to meet me in the middle of the nearest delivery area by my location. I spent my lunch break calling around for a copy of Potion Explosion. BoardGames2Go a store I had never heard of had a copy. They advised how I could purchase it via the website for pick it. It was an amazingly simple and easy I purchased 3 games total. They were wrapped in a sealed bag so nothing could get out. When I got home I was super surprised to see a bonus potion card set had been included with my game which I was not expecting. Truly a fantastic smooth experience. I will be buying my board games from this place first from now on because the customer service is so amazing! Show less

It was such a surprise being able to find games (Cubirds & Blue Lagoon) that were sold out everywhere else. It was such a surprise being able to find games (Cubirds & Blue Lagoon) that were sold out everywhere else. The person at the counter was also knowlegable with games and could recommend good ones to try out. Prices are comparable to other shops and available via an iPad device at the front. Although small in space, the store has managed to pack a variety of games all the way to the ceiling. It also has a board game rental service if you want to rent a few games to try out before buying. We had an absolutely excellent experience here yesterday. I had called many stores looking for a specific game and board game 2 go was the only one that had it and explained that the old version was out of print and the new version changed the art and the name. Lily was the one running the shop that day and she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the games. We found games there we didn't even know were out yet that are harder to find in other stores. The store front is super inviting and there is a great selection. We even learned more from lily about a board game meet up happening nearby that night and went to this. Overall will definitely come back next time we visit Toronto and we will tell all ours friends. I had called many stores looking for a specific game and board game 2 go was the only one that had it and explained that the old version was out of print and the new version changed the art and the name. Visited Toronto for a concert coming from Winnipeg and ended up browsing stores and noticed this game store. The staff working were extremely knowledgeable on all their games (which is impressive given the amount of variety they have) and even recommended some for me to try out. Honestly it was some of the best customer service I've seen from any store I've gone to and had a good atmosphere. Also despite living outside the delivery zone I was able to discuss with them an alternate method of delivery and they helped me with making it possible to get the games I wanted home. The staff working were extremely knowledgeable on all their games (which is impressive given the amount of variety they have) and even recommended some for me to try out. Honestly it was some of the best customer service I've seen from any store I've gone to and had a good atmosphere. Also despite living outside the delivery zone I was able to discuss with them an alternate method of delivery and they helped me with making it possible to get the games I wanted home. Bittersweet memories from this shop I went here and met up with an amazing woman. It was an amazing date. We looked at boardgames and talked for hours. Together we picked up a game and had a lot of fun. She kept the copy. I thought about that day a lot and how much enjoyable the experience was. We smiled and laughed so much my face was sore the next day. But then some time passed the next time I came back, she just didn't have the same level of energy or the vibe was off and mentioned she had a boyfriend and sadly returned the game to me. Days became months and I wanted to return to a happier time. No message back, no interest in another game. Life is a lot like a boardgame, I tried several times but I just could never put the pieces back together in the box. Still, every game has pauses. Every player waits. And maybe this is just one move in a longer story, one turn among many. Show less
