1 year agoThis is a great place to spend time at the entire complex. Play a game while having food and drinks from the many establishments there Also Frank and Sara are great people to hang out with. So are the friends who take care of the store when they are off for the day

Was browsing around Industry City with some friends when we stumbled on Brooklyn Game Knight. We didn’t have any set plans so we figured why not give this a try, and I’m SO GLAD we did. I’ve never gone to a board game lounge before but by the end of the night, we all agreed that this should be a new regular thing for us. For up to four hours, we could play any games in Game Knight’s library, but we stuck to just one since we had so much fun (it was Clue, Golden Girls edition - if you’re wondering). We had such a good time relaxing, chatting, laughing, and just enjoying each others company. It was a great escape from the busyness of the city, especially in December. On top of that, the shop owner was super sweet and friendly. Thank you so much for a great experience! We can’t wait to return. Show less

Was browsing around Industry City with some friends when we stumbled on Brooklyn Game Knight. We didn’t have any set plans so we figured why not give this a try, and I’m SO GLAD we did. I’ve never gone to a board game lounge before but by the end of the night, we all agreed that this should be a new regular thing for us. 9 months agoI have been going to this place religiously every Wednesday. The owners are very warm and helpful to the people coming into the shop or questions. Lots of board games and events that is enjoyable as well as keeping people connected.

9 months agoI'm a huge fan of this spot. I come most Wednesdays to play Magic: the Gathering, and every time I do I have a great time. There's a great selection of games to play and the owners are really tremendous people. Come here and play games!

I’ve been to a lot of local game shops since I moved to Brooklyn a handful of months ago, and Brooklyn Game Knight is filled with some of the nicest people I’ve met in my life. This might be the most tight knit but somehow still simultaneously open and welcoming group of folks ever, and they continue to be at the forefront of my mind when it comes to being a spot that I genuinely like to hang out at after feeling so lost moving from Chicago to NY. So happy to say I’ve brought a handful of friends here who share the same sentiment, and they continue to show up for all kinds of events that the owners (Sara and Frank) host all the time. They treat their customers like friends and have created a wonderful community that supports them as much as they support their community. Truly a great place to be, and thank you for welcoming me in with open arms! Show less
