Cages is a great shanghai spot for that fun nights where you wanna be playing all sorts of games with the beer in the hand. The food here too is american size but most items taste average. Go for the Burgers, Nachos and come for the Smoked Nights. Worst thing i had here were the buffalo wings which was terrible imo. Drawback is that i think they should have a Pool Table set aside as a challengers table mainly because you have to wait almost forever to get the chance to play, as people can play for as long as the want. You have to pay a deposit too of 200 upon returning the balls from the bar. Show less

Cages is a great shanghai spot for that fun nights where you wanna be playing all sorts of games with the beer in the hand. The food here too is american size but most items taste average. Go for the Burgers, Nachos and come for the Smoked Nights. Worst thing i had here were the buffalo wings which was terrible imo. Nice place with great food - some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. But their service is really bad - never enough wait staff, although the staff that are there are generally polite and friendly. Nice place with great food - some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. But their service is really bad - never enough wait staff, although the staff that are there are generally polite and friendly. EDIT: update in Jan of 2021 because I got an email saying this review has been getting lots of views. For a while they had QR codes stuck to the tables that you could scan to order through an app, which vastly improved the experience at this establishment since it solved their problem with service. But I was there recently and they seem to have removed these now for some reason. Service just as bad as always. Can never seem to flag down the wait staff, although they are attentive and do their best once you actually DO manage to get their attention. Show less

Nice place with great food - some of the best chicken wings I've ever had. But their service is really bad - never enough wait staff, although the staff that are there are generally polite and friendly. Cages is an awesome Sports Bar in Shanghai for some Food, Beer, Games or hangout with friends to watch sports on their screens throughout. Pizza is delicious as well as the wings and sliders. Great selection of beers/drinks too. Staff is great, efficient and definitely get their work in on weekends as it gets extremely busy. But, if you live in Shanghai and are going to a sports bar on the weekend, what else would you expect? One of the best places for good quality Western Food and a great atmosphere. Definitely will be heading back with the family in the near future. Show less

This sports bar & restaurant and arcade is absolutely fun. So many sports games from batting cages, basketball hoops, soccer, ping pong, darts and football and pool tables. You have a variety of games. You can spend hours playing. Also, the drinks are good and the chicken wings are perfect. Crispy and flavorful. You can order drums or flats. This is an expat dream haha. The service was great and good vibes and energy. Usually I take pictures of everything but I was too busy enjoying the place. Definitely a place to go have fun in shanghai.
