Had a great experience stopping in here. Good selection of games, very appealing space. Very friendly staff (my family stopped by together and a very kind staff member really went out of his way to engage my 7 year old son, even sitting down with him to teach him a game while the rest of us looked around). We were visiting from out of town, but I'd stop by regularly if we lived nearby. Show less

Nice game store. The guy at checkout, Michael, was super friendly and informative. I learned there will be extended hours in late November and more events. Capstone games is a great place to buy board games, play them, and meet fellow enthusiasts. The staff members here are super kind, knowledgeable, and never condescending like I found in so many other places as someone who’s been trying to get into more Board Games. They have an incredible selection, the prices with the membership are great so if you’re planning on buying more than a few board games a year, you will definitely save money by joining the $20 membership program. The staff have made some excellent recommendations for my partner, and I to play together based on what we already like. Show less

Capstone games is a great place to buy board games, play them, and meet fellow enthusiasts. The staff members here are super kind, knowledgeable, and never condescending like I found in so many other places as someone who’s been trying to get into more Board Games. They have an incredible selection, the prices with the membership are great so if you’re planning on buying more than a few board games a year, you will definitely save money by joining the $20 membership program. Unfortunate I was literally just talking this place up. Asked 2 weeks ago if I had to pre register for draft and told no and today after driving 45 mins to play as I was establishing a weekly routine I was turned away. Unfortunate I was literally just talking this place up. Asked 2 weeks ago if I had to pre register for draft and told no and today after driving 45 mins to play as I was establishing a weekly routine I was turned away. Edit: Editing this for more context. 2 weeks ago I went to this store to draft the new Magic set. The store fired this draft late and with 9 people. Not only was that beyond the "8 to fire" but 2 of the top 3 were players who got the bye for one of their wins. At the end of that draft i confirmed with the owner what the draft schedule would be for the rest of the set because i wanted a place to try and complete the Chocobo racing event. I even pre-paid for the next week since the owner would be out of town and asked if i needed to pre-register for the following since it was such a drive to get there. I was told no. Fast forward to 2 weeks later when i showed up to the store 10 mins before the draft time and the owner was handing out the draft packs. when he comes over to the counter i let him know i was here for the draft and he refused to let me draft because it was full. when i reminded him that he not only started late but went with 9 people 2 weeks prior and that i had, once again, drove 45 mins to draft he just simply refused. All within his right as a store owner i suppose and this choice moved my Edge of eternities $1000 pre order to a different location so if anything it's not really a loss to me. Just think people should be aware to not trust this store as from my brief experience with them it seems obvious there is going to be unfair bias for an inner circle and other people will get the short stick from this owner. Unfortunate I was literally just talking this place up. Asked 2 weeks ago if I had to pre register for draft and told no and today after driving 45 mins to play as I was establishing a weekly routine I was turned away. Edit: Editing this for more context. 2 weeks ago I went to this store to draft the new Magic set. The store fired this draft late and with 9 people. My favorite game store that I have ever been to. The workers are great, they are very knowledgeable and Rob will play along with you. The game tables are open as long as the store is. They do Commander nights and drafts. The prices are a lot lower than most in the area. They do sell singles but, they don't have a whole lot. They do have bulk boxes you can look through though. I love capstone. The chairs are super comfortable which is important because Commander takes a while and nothing kills a good game like sore buttcheeks lol. Show less
