Much preferred the relaxed vibe here to the swankier and much pricier rooftop bars lining the Bund. The views over the Bund are still spectacular here. We had a drink indoors first and the staff kindly moved us outside when a table subsequently became available. Good cocktails, IPA, and large G&Ts. ... Read more

We also very much enjoyed the communal shisha on the menu, even if it did take ages to arrive at the table. Love that they provided fleece tops to wear to protect against the rooftop chill. One night I got too drunk to go back home from the Bund, so I decided to spent my night in the Captain Hostel. Next morning, I had a hangover and the guy in the hostel room told me there is a rooftop bar there. That's how, I found this place. And it was quite nice, save my life with nice food and good beer. There is a spectacular view there on all the Pudong Skyline, the open-air lounge wasn't open that morning due to the wind, but waiters allowed me to go out there and take some pics. if the place is so good in the morning, it must be amazing at night, full of people, all the lights from the building in front and a party inside the bar. Next morning, I had a hangover and the guy in the hostel room told me there is a rooftop bar there. That's how, I found this place. And it was quite nice, save my life with nice food and good beer. It’s a crowded place and not really quite for romantic dinner yea. Good for group gathering that you don’t mind making noises around. It is easy to find, clearly signposted, and located on the 6th floor with both stairs and a small elevator available. A nice touch is the small merchandise corner in the lobby and the world maps where guests can pin their country, which adds an interactive and memorable element. The atmosphere is warm and intimate inside, with dim lighting and good music, while the outdoor seating offers the best views. Staff were attentive and well organized, offering to move us outside as soon as a table became available, which happened surprisingly fast. Blankets were provided, and service remained smooth despite the bar being busy and tables being quite close together. Cocktail selection is strong.
