Nice neighborhood coffee shop with games and a lot of neat decor to look at. Very relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. They have game events here, even seen a birthday party held here. We love their coffee drinks and pastries. Especially their matcha latte and oat milk latte, so good. Their online ordering through their website is easy and quick, and our orders are always ready on time. Only wish they had any other Gluten-free options besides the brownie. Nice neighborhood coffee shop with games and a lot of neat decor to look at. Very relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. They have game events here, even seen a birthday party held here. We love their coffee drinks and pastries. Especially their matcha latte and oat milk latte, so good. Coral Sword is a fun coffee shop with tons of board games for a great group outing. The interior is dark but there is natural light by the tables in the front offering a study space as well. Several people were in there quietly working away when I went in just before noon. They offer pastries from Cake and Bacon including a savory jalapeño cheese scone that was incredible. For coffee, I ordered an iced lavender flat white with oat milk (I wanted less milk than a latte) and it was delicious. Definitely up to par for coffee. The barista was super sweet. They also offer an eclectic beer selection and other food items. I was just there for to-go so didn't try everything out. Parking is a little sparse but sometimes that's part of living in a big city. From the music playing in the background, to the art on the walls, to the diverse customers that give this local dive support. Menu is simple. At the time of this review, no blended drinks were offered. Had a mocha latte. It was solid. Not too sweet and the coffee wasn’t too strong. Well balanced. What I valued about this coffee shop is the space it offers. The outside can be very deceiving. There are multiple rooms and nooks for you to choose from. You’re sure to find the space your looking for. Whether your looking to study, work, or focus on something, there is a space for that. If you want to hear music and be stimulated with more activity, the bar is a good spot to park it. Customer service is far beyond average. Friendly and service oriented. There are literally dozens of board games to play if you want to make it a social outing. There is also some seating outside. Lastly, make sure you have the Shazam app on your phone because I guarantee your going to use it. Nice find. Nothing negative to say at all. Show less

Environment: Coral sword is an extremely welcoming and comfortable environment. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions about the games or drinks. The dining and service counter areas are always clean, even on packed nights. During the day the cafe is pretty chill, filled (but not too full) with students and remote workers. The cafe tends to be busier in the evenings (or weekends) and hosts multiple events every week, with plenty of opportunities for magic or tabletop players. It's a great place to bring your own group and play board games. I also go there to work on my laptop and have never had trouble finding an outlet as there are multiple outlets along every wall. Accessibility & Inclusivity: The building has its own parking lot, but it is small and those going during busy times may have to find street parking. The cafe seems fairly accessible, but some of the spaces between tables are tight, especially during a packed house. The neighborhood and area around the building is not as accessible, but the crumbling asphalt and cement is by no means the responsibility of this establishment. There is a ramp on the side of the building, near the front. The doors are standard full-glass pull doors seen in many businesses. The cafe has a welcoming culture and I regularly see a diverse group of people here. Food & Drink: The drinks are amazing. I've never had a drink from here that wasn't delicious. Patricia makes a great chai latte. The first sip transports you to another realm, The Flavor Realm, where the weather is always beautiful and the traffic is always light. The food menu selection is small but the choices are solid. If you are genuinely hungry, you might find the food to be more snackish than filling. However, the snackish foods are perfect to munch on while hanging out with friends or working on your laptop. The prices are pretty standard cafe prices. I generally spend $5-6 on each drink and another $5-10 if I get a food item. You can certainly get a drink here for cheaper, but I tend to opt for larger sizes or extra espresso. I've never had the beer from here, but I've been told by my friends who drink that the beers were good choices. Overall, Coral Sword is a great spot and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cool spot to hang out, a fun time, or just a really good coffee.
