So these guys were friendly and helpful. They had a good variety of games to choose from. I was specifically looking for DND models to paint to try GW new contrast paints. Unfortunately there selection was very limited on amount of models to choose from. The store was clean, plenty of space for different game formats with the ability to have private rooms. They also had a great discount selection area as well. Overall, I enjoyed stopping by and checking out the place. Show less

So these guys were friendly and helpful. They had a good variety of games to choose from. I was specifically looking for DND models to paint to try GW new contrast paints. Unfortunately there selection was very limited on amount of models to choose from. The store was clean, plenty of space for different game formats with the ability to have private rooms. They had an event going on which was a "Board Game Garage Sale" that I heard about on FB. Very nice & relaxed atmosphere. LOTS of games, mini's, paints & brushes, lots of different card decks available for numerous games. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable about the mini's I want to start painting, even offering tips on layered application. I'm excited to check out their game nights, will DEFINITELY be coming back soon! 🤘 - Raine Show less

Been meaning to visit Crit Castle for a while as I had seen them at the local convention for years. Staff is friendly and about half the store is dedicated for playing games, which is really cool. The problem is I have no idea what kind of game store it is. Lots of miniatures games, but it feels like a random assortment. Some discounted games, some consignment, some used. New stuff is all over the map. Diverse miniature games selection, but it looked kinda iffy for fully supporting any given one. RPG selection is really not good. Board games a little sparse. Looks like they do a fair amount of magic. So not much focus and selection, but okay... that just seems to be the way of game stores these days. Three stars because the cast a wide net and the staff is friendly. Show less
