Wonderful local shop. I used to have one of these back in my hometown that my best friends ran. It was nice to actually get to see a shop that has the gaming area in the back as well. Super friendly staff. Cute guy at the front recommended a game based off of one that I love already called Betrayal at Baldurs Gate. Not disappointed! Really great and my friends loved it as well. So glad we have a place like this in the Springs! I was always jealous when I visited my friend in Seattle as there are a couple of board game stores there that have full bars and a kitchen attached (so fun to hang out in this type of setting!). So glad we have a place like this in the Springs! I was always jealous when I visited my friend in Seattle as there are a couple of board game stores there that have full bars and a kitchen attached (so fun to hang out in this type of setting!). My friends and I hung out here for a few hours playing games from their library and enjoying yummy drinks/food. We even founds a new game that I bought right away - Isle of Cats (it's pretty great). Super friendly people, great vibes. Note that this place is more MtG/cards/casual play based. If you are looking for things like Miniatures, role play, or a wider selection I would go to one of the other shops. Literally the only request I would have for improvement is a wider beer selection! The current few beers are decent but some more unique cans would go a long way :). I'll be back for sure! Show less

So glad we have a place like this in the Springs! I was always jealous when I visited my friend in Seattle as there are a couple of board game stores there that have full bars and a kitchen attached (so fun to hang out in this type of setting!). My friends and I hung out here for a few hours playing games from their library and enjoying yummy drinks/food. We even founds a new game that I bought right away - Isle of Cats (it's pretty great). Giving 5 stars for the service that's provided, and I don't feel that 1-star reviews should be given just for pricing. However, I have some serious feedback for the owners: Your pricing is a serious issue. I always want to buy from my LGS, however you are selling Dr Who precons at 25-50% higher then TCGplayer and 10-20% higher than Card Kingdom. Furthermore, I had a holo the one ring that I wanted to trade-in for store credit however you guys offered 30% less then Card Kingdom. This applies to almost everything you sell, it's 15-40% more than even Card Kingdom (which I usually consider a premium place). You should be making money off the booze and other services, I am not sure why this has to be the case. In the end, I have wanted to buy from you all a lot (and would even pay up to 10% more to support you), but alas I don't buy anything. I love having a LGS where I can play games, MTG, drink, and eat. Like seriously, we really need a place like this around. Also the staff has been super nice to me and I love the vibe (especially with the new setup, so much more room!!!). It just really sucks that I buy all my stuff from somewhere else. Show less

However, I have some serious feedback for the owners: Your pricing is a serious issue. I love how they want you to join the league, it’s super healthy for the game to have people buy the product AND PLAY!!! if you like lorcana and want to be able to buy product at a good price you should definitely join the dice guys lorcana league. Every employee is really good at attending and caring for the customers. They even provide water and you can order drinks too ! Genevieve is so nice and honestly my favorite employee to come into the store and be around. From that front, I am very disappointed in this establishment. They consistently price significantly higher than MSRP. For example, a recent set retails at $5.99 per pack. They are charging $20. That is just pure greed. At the end of the day, if you treat your community right, they will be loyal customers and share your store to friends and gladly buy all their gaming supplies from you. Stores like this prioritize profits over customers and sadly exploit desperate and uninformed gamers in the community. Show less

But I have to give some rating to hey to this point and I didn't want to tank the overall rating with a one star rank. Not sure if this place is brand new and just hasn't opened yet or just moved in ir what. There aren't any signs but I know I had the right place because of the hand written note on the door from the "Dice Guys" asking for any UPS deliveries to be taken to the pet shop next door. So just to save you some time I recommend calling first to see if they are up and running before you go there. Show less
