I'll be honest as I try to always be. This place is below the bar. The coffee is okay but more middle of the road than anything else. I'll be honest as I try to always be. This place is below the bar. The coffee is okay but more middle of the road than anything else. There's a good amount of gaming space and a good amount of inventory and they support local artists, which is something I'm happy about. There's a lot of work that needs to be done here. The place is clean, good atmosphere, and that's part of the problem. A gaming store shouldn't really have atmosphere. It interferes with gameplay. I don't really want to listen to your music and I don't really want to be bothered all that much. It's a good place. It just needs a little bit more of the gamer's influence. Show less

There's a good amount of gaming space and a good amount of inventory and they support local artists, which is something I'm happy about. There's a lot of work that needs to be done here. The place is clean, good atmosphere, and that's part of the problem. A gaming store shouldn't really have atmosphere. It interferes with gameplay. I have been going here for about a year and never had a problem and the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are all extremely friendly and are actively part of the community. They are always welcoming and willing to answer questions about the games or the store, this is the only place I am willing to get coffee because they take allergies seriously and will take the time to make it correct and to their standards, yes they may take a moment to get it but that is because they won't serve something they don't believe is quality. Best place for a good quick gaming session and the events are friendly and always welcoming, the community here is amazing and worth stepping into. I highly recommend stopping by if you can. I have been going here for about a year and never had a problem and the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are all extremely friendly and are actively part of the community. They are always welcoming and willing to answer questions about the games or the store, this is the only place I am willing to get coffee because they take allergies seriously and will take the time to make it correct and to their standards, yes they may take a moment to get it but that is because they won't serve something they don't believe is quality. A wonderful game store and cafe for all levels of use. We can bring our very young children here and play games together as a family and enjoy some snacks. My husband can also come with the friends that he's been gaming with for years and have a nice space to play tabletop RPGs. My brother-in-law also found beautiful metal dice with hearts set as an anniversary gift. They have done a great job creating a space to welcome all levels and types of gaming. We have enjoyed every one of our visits and plan to continue going. They also have enough food to do a meal there which is lovely for a date night. They have paid great attention to detail in making the space welcoming. Each time we go we find something else to be excited for (step stools in the bathrooms, a changing table, a kid size table for games, games to borrow, games to rent, games to buy for all ages, etc). We have also enjoyed a game tutorial where they taught my two kids to play a new game and they are delighted. It's been a wonderful place to laugh and enjoy time with loved ones. Show less

A wonderful game store and cafe for all levels of use. We can bring our very young children here and play games together as a family and enjoy some snacks. My husband can also come with the friends that he's been gaming with for years and have a nice space to play tabletop RPGs. Delicious local tea and coffee with a thriving game community. I spoke with some of their team and was delighted to see they serve Dryad tea and Landspeed coffee. As a fan of Dryad I was looking forward to seeing them in a retail space! Usually you can only get their tea online or at conventions. Do Gooder Cafe was a pleasant time and a great find. I stumbled upon this cafe on my day off and was excited to see sign up sheets for weekly games as well as a myriad of board games available for purchase. With ample seating there's plenty of space to lounge or set up for your weekly dungeons and dragons campaign. Pick up a new set of dice, a new game or even some stickers/pins with your next cup of coffee. Check out Do Gooders, they're not just good, they're amazing. Good to see this place doing well!
