Got myself a veggie breakfast burrito and a latte with whole milk and mocha literally just a few minutes ago. Holy Jesus! I've had plenty of coffees from plenty local places in my hometown and they do not compare. Literally the smoothest latte I've ever had. Dangerously good. I bought it expecting to sip on it during my work meeting and I finished it before I could even leave the building. It warmed up the burrito for me right then and there and I ate it on the walk back to my hotel purely because I had no way of warming it back up. I regret eating it only because I now do not have anything for later. Best breakfast burrito I've had in years. I'm not sure if it's worth $10, but it's definitely damn close to it. 12/10 I would seriously consider flying back to New Orleans just for this coffee. Show less

Got myself a veggie breakfast burrito and a latte with whole milk and mocha literally just a few minutes ago. Holy Jesus! I've had plenty of coffees from plenty local places in my hometown and they do not compare. Literally the smoothest latte I've ever had. Dangerously good. I bought it expecting to sip on it during my work meeting and I finished it before I could even leave the building. Ordered a macchiato & breakfast burrito. The burrito was ok, the hot sauce it came with was pretty terrific. The macchiato was undrinkable. We all had a knee jerk reaction when sipped. I brought this to the attention to the staff and they were nice, offered me a refund. Thing is, I just wanted a drinkable coffee and this place looks so fantastic I assumed I just had a one off bad coffee. So she made another one, different barrista too so figured this 2nd one would be fine. It was a slight step in the right direction, however, still very under extracted & sour. I’m honestly shocked given the incredible reviews. Show less

Then, there is an enchanting outdoor patio with a koi pond of sorts. Going deeper still is a private room of sorts with another bar area and several more conversation areas. The food was good, and the coffee was worth stopping for, but this is a place to enjoy friends with or have a contemplative cup. Paid parking only. Show less

I’ve got to say—both the espressos and lattes I made were smooth, and you can definitely taste the flavor profile described on the packaging. A little on the pricy side for a 10oz bag but worth it. We actually discovered this spot while planning our NOLA trip and even chose our hotel nearby so we could walk here every morning, and we did. In the morning, we got a bunch of pastries to try and they are all absolutely delicious. We followed the Google reviews and tried the Kaya bun and I'd join to gang and recommend that as well! In addition, Bodin boy - the savory one - did not disappoint either! Once heated, it was very tasty with a crispy outside layer and soft and warm inside just great for a chilly day! The only minor disappointment is their coffee. For a coffee shop, the drip coffee we got this morning is very diluted. Coupled with the sour taste of the beans, it really didn't meet our expectation. I ended up just drinking the coffee our hotel provided. : ( Overall, really great pastry shop. Try a coffee other than their house brew would be my only suggestion. Show less
