I've been a regular here for years, but over the past several months have had nothing but bad experiences. The past two times the person working the counter has been EXTREMELY rude and told me to not both bringing cards in to them to trade-in unless they were worth a lot. Then today (6/15), the only employee followed me around the store the entire time I was there. I get it, you're not accustomed to dudes with visible tattoos and long hair in Utah, but come on. Really advise people who aren't the stereotypical straight white male to consider other options. Show less

I've been a regular here for years, but over the past several months have had nothing but bad experiences. The past two times the person working the counter has been EXTREMELY rude and told me to not both bringing cards in to them to trade-in unless they were worth a lot. Then today (6/15), the only employee followed me around the store the entire time I was there. I get it, you're not accustomed to dudes with visible tattoos and long hair in Utah, but come on. That said GNG/Derek has been great, I've always been able to get product that is hard to find or cleared out by a couple people in big box stores. ... Read more

I've been coming here before my daughter was born. I think I got back into pokemon and card collecting around Covid (2019) like a lot of people my age. That said GNG/Derek has been great, I've always been able to get product that is hard to find or cleared out by a couple people in big box stores. That said I just wanted to share my experience yesterday: Prismatic Evolutions is one of those sets everyone's super hype about, people paying like 3x retail, and the set seemed to heavy allocated. I went in a month or so ago to get out on a list and with release in 2 days I totally expected not to get everything I asked for or potentially anything I asked for, which is fine, that's how it goes. Later that day got a text from Derek saying I got the etb and to come pick it up by Friday, go down there and to my surprise they have the poster collection I had initially asked for to, I'm overjoyed! Then at checkout they tell me I have a loyalty coupon for 20$ off (I looked it was from October 2023). So for an ETB and poster, things that if I didn't get here I'd have a snowballs chance in hell finding in the wild or without paying 200$, I was able to walk out with for $59. Just wanna say God bless the people at Game Night Games for doing a service for the local community and people in the hobby. I always recommend you guys to anyone in valley and even those past the point of the mountain. Thanks again for everything and hope to keep ordering stuff with you guys for years to come! Show less

I've been coming here before my daughter was born. I think I got back into pokemon and card collecting around Covid (2019) like a lot of people my age. That said GNG/Derek has been great, I've always been able to get product that is hard to find or cleared out by a couple people in big box stores. I saw the big boggle deluxe that I grew up playing, and it brought back so many wonderful memories. The folks and space create the most inviting atmosphere... Read more

I really enjoy going to unique and special shops. This place was beyond amazing! Great selection of games from the classics to the newest ones. I saw the big boggle deluxe that I grew up playing, and it brought back so many wonderful memories. The folks and space create the most inviting atmosphere to search for the perfect game . All of the people who were working today were so kind and patient, as we spent a few hours there today. We asked for some board game recommendations, and they were spot on. They also let us play a couple of their demo board games, and we ended up loving and purchasing Cascadia! Some of their staff even gave us lunch ideas nesrby. Highly recommend as their selection ranges wildly and they had something for everyone. Show less

Look no further :D [Customer Service] I am a new to the world of board games so I came to the staff with lots of questions and immediately I felt they love talking about board game and telling you all about it. Their genuine friendliness made our day as we learned about each on of the games and interacted with the store and it felt very comfortable to ask questions. [Community Building] In the back of the store, I saw groups of people playing games and I learned to store host their own game night events - you can find more information in their event calendar in their website - They also offer game rentals which you should ask more about it if it picks your interest :) [Store vibe] Asides from their whole library of board games; you will find decor characters (eg. Groot). I had the feeling the vibe of the store was a mixed between a cozy comic cafe and a library of games. Time will fly by just by looking around. Show less

When I asked the guy behind the counter he seemed very annoyed with my question and even more so when I asked if they were receiving another shipment. Through his response he made zero eye contact and... Read more

About 20 minutes ago I went into the shop to see if there was any stock for the new riftbound game. When I asked the guy behind the counter he seemed very annoyed with my question and even more so when I asked if they were receiving another shipment. Through his response he made zero eye contact and was locked in with whatever he was doing on the computer. I love going to this shop but this experience left a very sour taste in my mouth and I’m pretty disappointed with the level of customer service. Show less

Awesome little store with a huge selection of board games, DnD stuff, trading card materials, and miniatures. Also they have an awesome anti-scalper thing where they limit how many packs you can buy at a time! Love it! More stores should do this. PLUS they sell them at market price. Amazing store co...
