While the concept is great, the price point is a little too steep. Which means if you are a med-heavy game enthusiast , then the price will be pretty steep. For a game of Ark Nova it came to 500 pp , without food n without needing a game master. That’s 2000 for a 4 hr game for one single table without any food or beverages. Don’t think that’s a reasonable price. ( Place was also occupied for a birthday party which was loud before we arrived but wrapped up, so no certainty there as well. No one picked up the call for confirmation) Even at this price point for the time rental, you will be forced to order food from the cafe itself. Update : (based on outlet response): 1. Pricing transparency: I just want to let people know that infact that is incorrect, n the actual costs will be higher than 99 per hour with services charges n GST . Period. I never said anything about not being aware of the charges, but that it was indeed higher than my expectation . 2. Birthday Party Issue : This was to highlight that if people show up without enquiring , that they may find themselves in the middle of a party which is not what is expected of a boardgame cafe. 3. Call Pickup issue : Again just to highlight the issue we faced. I am not aware of call being picked as only when my friend reached the place were the informed about the party issue. 4.Food Policy : Again highlighting the limitations of the place. because if we are already paying for our time to play (n a very steep price at that) then we expect to have some flexibility around being able to enjoy the food we want. 5. Again the entire feed back is based on my personal experience n what i think were the plus or minuses. There is no need to be defensive. People have a right to be informed n make decisions accordingly. They can read n decide for themselves. Show less
