So many cherished classics, and new releases. Could probably spend all day in here, and all my savings! If you love video games and are looking for older platform games then this is THE place to come. Friendly knowledgeable staff and awesome sales on already wickedly low priced games. I didn't want to review because this place is a treasure I want all to my self, but it's good to share (or so I've been told!). If you love gaming, you will be in heaven here! Show less

This place is pretty cool. If you need a game for the older consoles, this store will probably have it. You will be paying a little more than you think though. This place is pretty cool. If you need a game for the older consoles, this store will probably have it. You will be paying a little more than you think though. It seems like the base price for a lot of the games is $10, no matter what game it is, which isn't too bad, but that's about the cheapest the games are. Theres some that are $5 too, but only a handful. The employee there was nice (and she was pretty attractive too). The store itself is really neat, games are displayed nicely, and the store has a clean look to it. They also have a pretty cool back section with a few arcade machines (THEY HAD THE SIMPSONS ARCADE!!) and a display case with retro consoles, which I thought was awesome. I'd go back to this store because I didn't have a bad experience, I just wish the games would be a little cheaper, but hey, they gotta keep the lights on somehow, right? Show less

This place is pretty cool. If you need a game for the older consoles, this store will probably have it. You will be paying a little more than you think though. It seems like the base price for a lot of the games is $10, no matter what game it is, which isn't too bad, but that's about the cheapest the games are. Theres some that are $5 too, but only a handful. The employee there was nice (and she was pretty attractive too). The employees were incredibly helpful and fun to talk to. It really is fun to be able to talk video games with them and they seem to truly appreciate the medium. The environment is incredibly relaxed and chill. The only problem that I do have is that the selection IS lacking when it comes to major first party titles (You'll mainly find sports games or licensed games) though they still do have some behind cases. They are the only place I know that have a good amount of dreamcast material so that is a definite plus. All in all I would highly recommend this store if you live in the area, though don't expect to find major games at decent prices. Show less

The employees were incredibly helpful and fun to talk to. It really is fun to be able to talk video games with them and they seem to truly appreciate the medium. Game Over has the feel of FuncoLand before they were bought out by Barnes & Noble and became GameStop. I love that they have a tribute to video game hardware history with almost all consoles released in home gaming history, as it is a great nostalgia hit, and I can show my kids what was around during my childhood as compared to what they have available today. This store is a great place if you are a retro game collector, or just want to relive the good old days when arcades were in every mall and home gaming was something you did on a rainy day. I am old enough to have had a Pong console, so it's like they are walking me through my entire life history of gaming! Show less

Game Over has the feel of FuncoLand before they were bought out by Barnes & Noble and became GameStop. I love that they have a tribute to video game hardware history with almost all consoles released in home gaming history, as it is a great nostalgia hit, and I can show my kids what was around during my childhood as compared to what they have available today. This store is a great place if you are a retro game collector, or just want to relive the good old days when arcades were in every mall and home gaming was something you did on a rainy day. Visited this location many times over the past few years, usually great selection across many of the console eras along with decent deals. My last visit (April 2023), I noticed quite the pricing issue - primarily with the disc based games they are generally priced at the Complete In Box (CIB) price, even when they are disc only, missing the manual, or not the original box/cover art. I have no issues paying market rate, especially when looking for harder to find games etc. - but there is a big difference in the collecting community when games are not complete but being priced as such. Their prices are pretty solid as well. I wish I lived in the area so I could visit more often! Offers less than the actual value of games and consoles, I sold a console with a couple controllers and games yesterday was given a number then another number which was only a $10 difference mind you it was all below $100 that they offered me but if you like store credit then you should be fine since they add about $40 to the cash amount to come up with a number for store credit, I see how they managed to grow their inventory over the years not much has changed. Always undervalues whatever you bring in to sell. Show less

Went in to sell a bunch of old games and consoles and was told that I could only get store credit because they “didn’t have the cash for trade in’s” without even looking at what I had or determining the value.
