Little gem of a place. Nice selection of board games and miniatures without the "unlit basement" feel that a lot of the older game shops had. Went there to look for some Magic cards, and they had quite a big collection. Many cards I was looking for. Reasonable priced as well. I’d suggest bringing a list of cards you need with you, because they keep their cards in alphabetical order, and you have to ask the employee to look for it. But the... Read more

I'm from out of state and went there while visiting a friend. It is very comfortable, very well presented with nice wooden shelving, carpeting and a nice area in the back for gaming. The games were well displayed and the staff were very kind and helpful. Next time I visit, I'll definitely come again... Read more

They have magic singles and card games but multiple staff members are downright unpleasant and harm the business. They have magic singles and card games but multiple staff members are downright unpleasant and harm the business. The guy with glasses, long curly brown hair, and always wears a mask is the worst of the bunch on that. I've seen him be purposely rude to multiple people over the times I've been in there and have had him act the same way to myself when i asked about a magic single on display. Wouldn't want to imagine the ammount of people that have gotten turned around as customers from his behavior alone. Despite the business having good stock and a large store, it makes ya wanna go somewhere else when you see that type of thing 50% of the time you go in. They got less stock but I'd recommend the gamers guild or the shop just up north by wallmart that specializes in yugioh cards to get your mtg stuff. Both will let you order things to the store and have better staff. Either that or just order online. Show less

They have magic singles and card games but multiple staff members are downright unpleasant and harm the business. No matter what genre of tabletop gaming you're into, whether you're a casual player or dedicated gamer, Game Preserve will definitely have something for you. Beginning in the front of the store, you'll find the familiar family favorites. As you work your way in, you'll discover rows of dice, cards and what seems like every board game under the sun. If you have a favorite movie or TV show, they have games for that. Like historic or sci-fi themes? They have those games. Party games? Yep. Popular new releases? Got those. Miniature games? Yes, plus all the paints and brushes to customize your set. Staff is always super friendly and helpful when you're looking for something specific or trying to choose between their many titles. I've bought several gifts there plus several games for myself, all have been a huge hit. In the evenings, they open up their huge side room for games (I often see people playing Magic the Gathering and I know there’s open game nights too). Plus there's a rewards program for repeat customers. I'll definitely be back! Show less

Today we stopped in to pick up Lost Ruins of Arnak, and of course they had it — along with the expansions. Knowledgeable staff, great inventory, and a true passion for board games.
