This place is terrible. I came in looking to sell my Pokémon cards. When I gave them my cards they took them to the back where I believe they swapped out some of my almost-mint condition cards for some bad, poorly handled cards. When they came back, they picked out about 15 cards and offered $64 for all of them which is greatly undervalued. I know these places buy low sell high but some of those cards were worth about $20 each. Also, when they came back and gave the cards back to me, my mint condition heracross (shown in pictures) looked like some 4-year-old messed with them. When I brought this up, they claimed none of the cards have been tampered with and refused to do anything about it. DO NOT GO HERE. Show less

When I gave them my cards they took them to the back where I believe they swapped out some of my almost-mint condition cards for some bad, poorly handled cards. I have been here multiple times. Most of my experiences have been positive. One of the best positives that game time offers is their employees. Sophie was extremely kind and helpful, and then remembered me from a previous visit that I liked a certain Pokémon character and had pulled cards aside for me in the event that I came back. I’ve worked with Jeremy who I believe might be the owner on more than one occasion, and he has been nothing but friendly. I was able to show him a new function on how to look up Japanese Pokémon cards, and he was receptive and kind to the information. Though we couldn’t come to a deal today he was open and transparent about his negotiation, and I will be back in the future to look at their selection of cards. Show less

I have been here multiple times. Most of my experiences have been positive. One of the best positives that game time offers is their employees. Sophie was extremely kind and helpful, and then remembered me from a previous visit that I liked a certain Pokémon character and had pulled cards aside for me in the event that I came back. I was curious what the breakdown of cards inside was like so I counted: Average around 400-450 cards, no basic mana, a little non-basic land. ~100 unique cards per bulk pack (so still decent number of duplicate... First time at this place. I bought a bunch of their $10 bulk boxes of commons/uncommons. I was curious what the breakdown of cards inside was like so I counted: Average around 400-450 cards, no basic mana, a little non-basic land. ~100 unique cards per bulk pack (so still decent number of duplicates BUT the highest # of dups for one card was 12 with an average of 3-4 dups per card... not bad at all imo. ~13% of the packs were uncommons. They're all separated by set, which is nice if you're trying to fill out a collection. I've had some bad experiences in the past with grab boxes having like... 50 duplicates of multiple cards. Not the case with Game Time's boxes. For 10 bucks, these grab boxes are really well-made. Its obvious going through the cards that they had been sorted and an attempt was made to be fair and equal (no chunks of all blue or white cards.) Very evenly distributed across the colors. I think these boxes are EXCELLENT for younger players who need a good variety of cards without breaking the bank. Its not like the deal of the century or anything, considering you're getting mostly commons but the variety and even distribution of cards across all colors makes me believe the guys that packed this box were not just using them as a worthless dump of commons. They actually put time and effort into making these boxes worth every dollar. (See photos for even distribution of colors. The stacks at the bottom of the the photos are the unique cards with the larger stacks behind them are the duplicates.) The employees seemed friendly and knowledgeable too. Show less

I wish I had something nice to say about this place, but unfortunately the customer service on two completely separate times by two separate employees have been horrible. If you question the value offered of selling cards, they will not hesitate to demean you and explain how a customer should “understand basic economics” before trying to sell cards. Yikes, right? If they tell you something specific on the phone, do not expect them to honor it when you drive 30 minutes to make a transaction. Apparently 25 minutes before closing is “too close to closing” to help a customer. There are several other great trading card stores in the area and I highly recommend any other one besides this one. Not to my surprise, I also put in a list to get done at the same time and my oh my they’re the same price. The original price of the cards? $500 all together. I got offered $170, the exact price for my list. In short, I came in, was lied to about percentage, then they didn’t do their job and tried to change how their prices worked in person. Even the man behind the counter looked shocked when I told him the original value. Why? Because someone was just trying to rush and go play magic. Hey. I get it. But I’m selling you cards then using that money and maybe even more to put back into the store and I was sold 34% in store credit when I was told 60-70. I would’ve even settled for half. That’s pathetic and really shouldn’t be happening to someone who’s been shopping there for years. I hate writing this but I haven’t been treated this poorly in a very long time. I hope they can fix this issue and be more clear on their pricing because the reality is you’re not getting what you’re cards are worth and you won’t get what they will tell you they’re worth. Game Time has been my go-to store since starting up collecting Pokémon cards a few months ago. I am a person with autism and a lot of anxiety, but they have always been welcoming and I have always felt safe. They've helped answer my silly questions about things, and today they helped resolve something I was very very anxious about. They were super kind and understanding. I wish I knew the specific names so I could shout them out, but please just know you are all appreciated! I really like digging through the Pokémon bulk that is in the center of the store. I have also purchased a binder there and some singles for decent/comparable prices. I have a lot to learn and am definitely not an expert, but Game Time is my favorite local shop and I always know I can go there when I want to find new cards! Show less

Game Time has been my go-to store since starting up collecting Pokémon cards a few months ago. I am a person with autism and a lot of anxiety, but they have always been welcoming and I have always felt safe. They've helped answer my silly questions about things, and today they helped resolve something I was very very anxious about. They were super kind and understanding. I wish I knew the specific names so I could shout them out, but please just know you are all appreciated! I really like digging through the Pokémon bulk that is in the center of the store.
