Stopped by with my sister last night for the first time and wasn’t disappointed. The bartender Liz was awesome. Shes very attentive and super friendly and the drinks were on point. The staff in general were just on the ball. The food menu is your typical bar fare but everything was tasty and they give buzzers when your food is ready. It’s easy to get lost in a busy bar so I liked that touch. The crowd was a mix but mostly 20s/30s. Everyone I spoke with was friendly. I will definitely be back! Show less

Stopped by with my sister last night for the first time and wasn’t disappointed. The bartender Liz was awesome. Shes very attentive and super friendly and the drinks were on point. The staff in general were just on the ball. The food menu is your typical bar fare but everything was tasty and they give buzzers when your food is ready. I’ve visited GameOn several times, both at their previous location and the new spot across from Cross Street Market. Unfortunately, since the move, things have noticeably gone downhill. What used to be a quirky arcade bar now feels like an ordinary bar desperately clinging to an “arcade” theme. The drink selection has become disappointing - pricey cocktails lacking strength, and the unique offerings like sake have vanished entirely. Now it’s essentially the same drinks you’d find at any bar nearby. The real letdown is the arcade itself. Many games were broken, and there’s clearly fewer available than before. The loss of board and card games was especially upsetting - my girlfriend and I loved relaxing with a few drinks over a card game rather than dealing with overpriced, malfunctioning machines. While the previous location had its flaws (mainly broken games), it at least retained some charm. Now, GameOn lacks anything distinctive or engaging enough to justify a return visit. Show less

As for food, we had the pretzels with beer cheese and the chips and French onion dip. They were both good and your classic bar food snacks. They also had more food options and dessert options that we will have to try another time! As for the games, they has a variety of old classics and a few four players games which was great for our group. The vibe of the bar is very laid back and chill, which we loved. The bartender there was also so great! He was quick and friendly, and we loved talking to him. We will definitely be back! Show less

Many cabinets had the tape over the coin slots. These are only some of issues I encountered: - Street Fighter II player 2 not working - Defender joystick not moving up or down - TMNT only Player 3 working. Player 4 jump button is busted. - Time Crisis 3 Player 2 not working - Final Fight Screen would go black for a few seconds every couple of minutes. Only the fully working cabs should be set out. I went on a preview night and the vibe and decorations are great and the drinks were good overall (some bartenders still learning their thing so some were a big miss) and the food available was extremely simple and limited but fine. I worry about the flow if it was a crowded night and they need some more pinball, but nothing that worried me too much. Really like the 3rd floor speakeasy through the telephone booth and the drinks up there were on point. Hope to come back when they’re in full swing and change this to a 5! Show less

I celebrated my birthday at Game On Arcade in Baltimore and it was an unforgettable night! From the moment I walked in, the staff showed nothing but love and made the whole experience special. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the energy was unmatched. The highlight of the night was definitely DJ Mack, he kept the party going nonstop! My friends and I danced so much we were literally sweating, but having the absolute best time. On top of that, the drinks were reasonably priced, the food was delicious (you HAVE to try the Thai chili chicken fingers and fries—they’re amazing!), and the vibe was just right. The games were fun too! It’s nostalgic. If you’re looking for a great night out, I highly recommend coming here, especially on a Friday night with DJ Mack. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
