Conner even admitted he remembered our conversation when he told me said price, but said there was nothing they could do about it. Completely unacceptable. Do not waste your time or money here. - God-tier tabletop/board game store with an absolutely massive selection of anything and everything you could possibly want in those categories. - S-tier board game selection, paint selection (all of the hobby paint you could ever need or want including brushes, terrain, and other misc. painting items). - S-tier tabletop gaming area, comfortable chairs, big tables, private gaming rooms (costs money to rent per hour) which are themed and have comfortable chairs with a big table and a big tv to go with it. There's also a standing tabletop game room off to the side, this place is absolutely massive. - Excellent selection of snacks/drinks and frozen treats. - They offer one-shot campaigns / DMs / Beginner Groups / and other types of campaigns - they cost money but at least they're offered - discounted with their membership. This is the biggest tabletop/board game store I've been to in the valley so far and they're expanding their store! Absolutely massive selection. They had GOOD prices for Warhammer figures. Their prices were very competitive for everything including the board games. However, while they had great prices on physical items, overall the place seems very expensive to play at - this is a premium top tier gaming destination. They have a Members monthly package that includes all sorts of perks and things (it's $50/mo), essentially this is the Scottsdale Gun Club of Tabletop Gaming. They offer great perks for members for the price and a goodies bag. This place is HUGE! (honestly just see it in person and you'll understand). The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and helped me with everything I needed (great experience). Show less

Top tier customer service and response. I ordered a game online from Gamers Guild, and it was delivered on 8/20. As I went through the contents, I found it was missing one of the important game pieces. I emailed their customer service that same day to ask about how to resolve. By the middle of the next day (8/21), their customer service emailed back that they were sending a replacement game with a return label for the game with the missing piece. I was like "cool", but then I didn't hear anything further...perhaps I was hoping for confirmation that it was sent with a tracking number. Much to my pleasant surprise, the package with the replacement game was sitting on my porch the next day (8/22).....as fast as this took, even if they did send me a tracking number, by time the tracking number would have shown up on USPS' website the package would have already been en route or already here. I already enjoy shopping at their physical locations, both in Tempe and North Phoenix, with welcoming stores and friendly staff, and this online transaction and issue resolution just solidified why they will be one of my prime boardgame locations. No one could answer questions about what time to bring cards in, their policies are always changing, no clear FAQ page - just a bunch of random discord links. Submitted a buylist online, was given an estimate of $110, got there hours later and was told the best they could do was $80 because the website had "outdated information" and the counter had "market data" - couldn't elaborate when I asked follow up questions. Felt real scammy to bait and switch like that. Show less

What an experience, my first time last night with my buddy there. We played Warhammer and met one of the owners. Made us feel at home. It definitely has a feeling of pride. That place is ran with Pride! Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and friendly. Just wished it was closer to me because I’m all the way out in south queen creek. I was truly impressed with the selection of Warhammer, paints and accessories. I bought quite a few things that I couldn’t find anywhere else and was again helped with staff. Thank you guys so much. I recently had my GF leave my comment i put on Discord. There has been some bad experiences for my family and I with GG recently. It happened once at north Phoenix and once in tempe. I let each experience go by and just left it. The 3rd time tho after coming to both locations as locals. To then be treated bad again. 1st of all a service dog should not have the owner questioned what service does the dog attend. I said medical and they insisted what medical service. Well that to me made me very upset. The 3rd time it happened was unacceptable and thats why I am leaving this review. I rarely leave 1 star reviews... very rarely. This is needed her cause they messed up bad. All TCG shops know Nancy is my service dog. Only GG has made an issue. I will not spend my time and hard earned money at an establishment like this ever again and I encourage all my friends and family to shop elsewhere for their TCG and game needs. Very disappointed cause I loved going there for the most part. Show less

Staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. I was 5 mins late to a tournament that I prepaid for.(they have a policy for a 5 min window so I was thinking I was just in time)I drove from 40 mins away in rush hour to be there. Upon arrival I was told to wait and that my spot had possibly been given away. After 3 mins of waiting the person that apparently is the “manager” gave away my spot. He said that it is policy that after 5 mins the spot will be given away. I was there at the cutoff time and I did not witness any spots being given away. Meaning that it was before hand. Now aside from the fact that I prepaid with my email and phone number so they could’ve contacted me but further more I was lied to about this already ridiculous policy. My spot was given away long before the 5 min policy he kept siting because I was there at 305 the tournament and packs were already being handed out. But over and over he stated that he did so at 305 even though I was there at that time and that isn’t what happened. The manager who spoke to me the whole time was extremely condescending and rude and between this, bad prices, annoying policies and rude staff you won’t see me here or telling anyone that this is the shop to be. To pre-face, this a review of the company and not this specific store. My distaste is solely towards my on-line interaction with this company. I pre-ordered a case of Sorcery from this store. Contacted customer service after release because I still hadn't received any update on my order, and they told me they were still waiting on shipments as they had not received any shipments for Sorcery yet. A week after release, I still had not heard any update for my order so I checked their Discord and saw that they had received pre-order allocations and that the owner of this store opened 150+ boxes because he wanted to get foil playsets. I contacted customer support once more asking where my shipment was, as they clearly received the stock. Customer service told me they "were shorted" and that they could either ship me part of my order and wait for the rest, or get a refund (I obviously chose the latter). Provide your customers what they paid for. If you want playsets or singles for your store, great, but allocating almost $20k in stock towards the owner to open when customers aren't receiving their purchase that they paid for that you said was in stock at time of purchase, with ZERO updates from the company that any of this is happening, is ridiculous. I will personally never shop from this company again, which is a shame because they do have competitive pricing and stock of a lot of lesser played games compared to most of these types of stores. Oh well. Show less

To pre-face, this a review of the company and not this specific store. My distaste is solely towards my on-line interaction with this company. I pre-ordered a case of Sorcery from this store. Contacted customer service after release because I still hadn't received any update on my order, and they told me they were still waiting on shipments as they had not received any shipments for Sorcery yet. A week after release, I still had not heard any update for my order so I checked their Discord and saw that they had received pre-order allocations and that the owner of this store opened 150+ boxes because he wanted to get foil playsets. Prices are fantastic and there's sooo much game space. I went on a Wednesday and the back tables were full of people playing a variety of games (card and minature) with some folks actively looking for new-comers to play. I turned them down because I'm shy but they were very kind! They also have free terrain to use for your mini setups, too, if you're playing there. They have a LOT of board games for sale (with several that I've never come across before, so if you're a collector, definitely stop by) and many of them free to try out in the back room. Then, of course, paint and paintbrushes for minis and terrains, varnishes and general supplies. Their tcg selection is diverse, too, holding a lot of variety on the shelves. I think the hardest thing for me to figure out was where their prices are, because most prices are not listed on the item. HOWEVER each section has a QR code nearby that you scan which will show you their website filtered for that specific section (and it has a search bar) with the prices listed. Pretty much every staff member asked me if there was anything they can do to help and, overall, I had a very positive experience here.
