I am temporarily in the area, but I’ve been visiting game stores for over 20 years. I must say, Gamer's Haven is one of the rare few that truly brings back those fond memories of stepping into a game store and immediately knowing it’s a welcoming place to be. The staff is always courteous, the store’s organization is impeccable, the prices are unbeatable, and the selection is refreshingly unique (though I wouldn’t mind seeing more Dungeon Crawl Classics—but that’s just me). I am temporarily in the area, but I’ve been visiting game stores for over 20 years. I must say, Gamer's Haven is one of the rare few that truly brings back those fond memories of stepping into a game store and immediately knowing it’s a welcoming place to be. The staff is always courteous, the store’s organization is impeccable, the prices are unbeatable, and the selection is refreshingly unique (though I wouldn’t mind seeing more Dungeon Crawl Classics—but that’s just me). We have never been in this store before and we where looking for a certain type of game which they where currently sold out of but they said they would order it for us. The staff here was very friendly and very knowledgeable about all things to gaming and even though they didn’t have the game we where looking for at the time( which I am surprised they didn’t have it because they have a absolutely HUGE selection of stuff) we still left with 5 different games. We are extremely happpy we found this place and would definitely recommend checking this place out. Huge selection!!! They also have a whole area where you can play games and paint the pieces you purchased for you games. Thank you again! Show less

We have never been in this store before and we where looking for a certain type of game which they where currently sold out of but they said they would order it for us. The staff here was very friendly and very knowledgeable about all things to gaming and even though they didn’t have the game we where looking for at the time( which I am surprised they didn’t have it because they have a absolutely HUGE selection of stuff) we still left with 5 different games. We are extremely happpy we found this place and would definitely recommend checking this place out. Huge selection!!! Not only do they have a huge selection of board games, and an entire extra room devoted to gaming, but they also have a Discord channel where you can always find out what's going on and get your questions answered. They have a decent sized staff, so someone is always available to help in person, and they put on an amazing board games / miniatures auction twice a year, catering to anyone who wants to either sell or buy. These guys have been my solid #1 go to for years, and I honestly can't see why I would ever change that habit. Show less

Not only do they have a huge selection of board games, and an entire extra room devoted to gaming, but they also have a Discord channel where you can always find out what's going on and get your questions answered. They have a decent sized staff, so someone is always available to help in person, and they put on an amazing board games / miniatures auction twice a year, catering to anyone who wants to either sell or buy. They have tons of tables for different formats of games and even have a section where people can paint and build models. There's a large selection of board games available to play in store if you want to try before you buy. They have gigantic selections of citadel paint and army painter. They have big selections of Vallejo and well. Did I mention they do special orders? That's one of my favorite things they do. I have gotten so many hard to get 40k boxes because of Gamers Haven. This is definitely the BIGGEST game shop in Colorado Springs! They have such a huge selection of board games and table top games! The card games like MTG and Pokemon are a little lacking, but that is probably the only downside to this place. Besides having a huge variety, it also provides plenty of room to walk around and the atmosphere is great. There is a separate area for gaming and it is big as well. I have not played here before, but this seems to be the shop to go for board games if you can't find what you're looking for at other shops. Show less
