Great place to hang out with friends and play boardgames or tabletop games. There's a great library of games to borrow, plenty of space and friendly staff. Food is good and very reasonable and there's even a small shop for games if you fancy picking something new up.

With friendly staff and an even friendlier manager this place is the one gaming place to rule them all. It has a nice, warm, friendly environment that can be enjoyed by young and old. Also note they have a shop downstairs with AMAZING prices on most things! Show less

Fantastic place to meet fellow gamers if you're not a member of South East Scotland War games Club. Table hire is reasonable and the food, while limited is tasty. Nice staff and friendly atmosphere every time I go.

This is an amazing place! The cafe & shop are Good, the coffee was great and baking tasted nice. We went on a Thursday night and stole a table downstairs from the local games group but they didn't kick up a fuss (sorry guys! And thank you!)

So many board games! Loads of space downstairs. Keep learning and loving new board games each day :) Great food and drink. Good prices! Just consider your ergonomics if you're going to use the PCs here to game for a while.

For me it's not the cafe or the selection of games that sets this place apart. Instead it's the gaming save downstairs and the large free to play selection that they have down in the basement that's the cherry on top of the cake. Great place to try new boardgames before you buy. Very reasonable prices on new games, and very good priced food and drinks. £2.50 to play from opening til close is great! Lots of room for many people to play. Shame I don't live here so I can't be a regular.

One of the best board gaming cafes I've frequented. Absolutely huge selection of board games, great big space downstairs. Can get quite busy so booking a table ahead of time is advised. Food is great as well, great selection of paninis and such.

Looking to play some tabletop games whilst visiting the city? Check out Games Hub! On a recent visit to Auld Reekie my brother and I decided to check out the local tabletop gaming scene, and so came across Games Hub. The frontage is quite small given they’re on a corner plot, but they make quite efficient use of the awkward space inside. The first section of the shop is a small cafe/retail area, offering a selection of snacks and accessories for popular card and miniature games. The majority of the rest of the building is given over to gaming space, including the vast basement space which features hundreds of board games to play! Staff are friendly and helpful, making the visit enjoyable throughout. A great addition to the city, we look forward to visiting again when in Edinburgh next. Show less

Great having a venue like this on your door step. Friendly staff with a nice cafe and a small but decent selection of games in the shop. Downstairs is where the real magic happens with a mammoth amount of board games to choose from. Nice and friendly atmosphere!

The basement room stank of dampness, the lack of music left the downstair area feeling eerie without people, and the lack of organisation of the board games made it hard to find what they have. The staff member I talked to did not seem super interested in the hobby, which probably isn't the best for a small store. Despite this, they had a quite reasonable selection of board games to rent and a good selection of Flames of war models to buy. Show less

Great place to play games. It did get a little loud but I'd attribute that to the fact that it was full (which is great to see) They have food which I have heard is very good. As well as a discord server to make bookings. Will be coming back to fulfill all my board gaming needs!
