Staff was nice. Really wasn’t busy or crowded for a Friday night. A lot of shelves were empty and it was clear that they were trying to downsize inventory on a lot of things. Things like DnD minis not being replaced, leaving maybe a selection of 15 total. Board games were a weird collection of some popular titles you’d expect to see but also a lot of random and not popular games. A very casual player collection of games. So if you’re looking to find big, strategy or RPG games they were not present. Gloomhaven, Frosthaven, Nemesis, and similar miniature focused games were not there. In short it’s a better place to meet people and play or work on your hobby projects. It is not where I’d go if I’m looking to find something for game night. I’d call ahead to make sure they have what I’m looking for. Warhammer 40K had the biggest selection of options by far. So if you’re looking for some minis or rule books there’s a decent selection. We really loved visiting this bard game store. We were only in town for a few days but decided we would like to play some games. We saw lots of inventory, plenty of space with tables to play with groups, and a large library of games available to play (free). We were very impressed overall. We bought a couple small games and passed a couple of hours playing there. The space available to play is very clean and large with plenty of tables and chairs. We would definitely visit more often if we had a place like this in our hometown. Show less

The store is conveniently located in the heart of Indianapolis and has a fantastic selection of miniatures and card games. I was especially impressed with their Warhammer section, which had a great variety of armies, including a now my new army Adeptus Mechanicus!! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with plenty of people playing games—even on a Sunday! It’s clear that the local gaming community is thriving here. They also have a game library in the back, which is a great bonus. If you’re into gaming, whether miniatures or card games, this is a must-visit spot. Highly recommend! Show less

7 years agoA cool store in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Very friendly staff and a great selection of miniatures, tabletop games, cards, dice and anything else you can imagine for a game store to have. I highly recommend this store and cannot wait to see what can come of it.

7 years agoThis was my first time playing draft in Magic the Gathering. Everyone was super inviting and helpful. I lost every game, but at least I pulled a Planeswalker. I'll definitely be back.

They sell singles for MTG, Pokemon, Star Wars and Lorcana. They also seem to have decent stock of One Piece sealed products and other sealed products in general... Except normal perfect fit sleeves(because I keep buying them). They also have some nicer brushes than the average army painter or citadel and a decent paint selection if you are a painter. Show less

9 months agoSolid LGS. Go for events. Get your Magic, Pokemon, and Lorcana here if you can make the trip. I don't HammerWars, but the model stuff seems consistent with premium vendors, including tools, paints, and minis. You can complain about the parking downtown, but this place is worth it.

8 months agoWe came in after dinner on an out of town trip, and my group was pleasantly surprised by this shop! Had something for all of us: TCGs and supplies, Warhammer, and board games galore! Store was spacious with clean tables for play and the store as a whole was clean and open.

4 years agoLove this game shop! Such a good variety and selection from D&D, MTG or fun family tabletop games. Was able to find some cool miniatures and the staff was super friendly and helpful with paint tips since I'm just beginning to start painting miniatures.

3 years agoIncredible place!!! I got dice and a dice bag here, excellent quality. They also have Pronoun Pins!!! If you like gaming, it even just collecting dice like me, you'll love this place. 10/10 recommend.

3 years agoThis is a must stop!! We had a great time sitting and playing some new games. We tried the Fluttering Souls Game and ended up taking home a copy. It’s one of our new favorites. Thanks for being so welcoming!

9 months agoSolid LGS. Go for events. Get your Magic, Pokemon, and Lorcana here if you can make the trip. I don't HammerWars, but the model stuff seems consistent with premium vendors, including tools, paints, and minis. You can complain about the parking downtown, but this place is worth it.

8 months agoWe came in after dinner on an out of town trip, and my group was pleasantly surprised by this shop! Had something for all of us: TCGs and supplies, Warhammer, and board games galore! Store was spacious with clean tables for play and the store as a whole was clean and open.

6 months agoTook our teens and preteens today. The two men working were so kind and helpful explaining trading cards and games. They truly went above and beyond. Next time we have freetime in Indy, we will definitely visit Good Games.

4 months agoI was visting from Chicago and went in to see of they had the paints my husband uses for miniatures. They didn't have the brand but were extremely helpful. I bought some brushes instead, a card game for myself and got excellent recs on role playing games my nephew might enjoy. What an awesome spot. ... Read more
