A big space, well organized, and a safe feeling. We went there before dinner and explored the games. There were so many. The people were eager to help and we heard them take the time and help other customers explore their selection. We locked in on the 2-player games and we got a few games and found choices we don’t usually see in the smaller game stores in Seattle. Probably the biggest game store I have been to. Will go back again when we return to Portland. Show less

There is no sound proofing and the place is so loud that you will blow out your voice. There's no private space to rent or anything, either. I've been to board game stores across the nation, whenever I travel for work (10-15x per year) I hit the local shop. This is easily one of the top 3 shops I've been to. What makes it so good? Cleanliness and organization - this may be the most clean store I've been to and they have laid it out in a very logical way with plenty of space for maneuvering around. Selection - Their board have selection was ridiculously deep. I found games that I had heard about but never seen in a store. This included both big games and small games. Friendliness - I had multiple workers ask me if I needed help finding anything, or if I'd like recommendations. It was great. They also had 4-5 people working which was awesome. I can't say enough good about this place. But they also had a good size hanging area and an in-store bar. Show less

I should have immediately known it wasn’t right when the cellophane did not completely wrap the entire box. The sides of the box were sticking out unwrapped and the plastic appeared ... Read more

DO NOT BUY POKEMON HERE. RESEALED BOX!!! I grabbed the last booster bundle of surging sparks for 44.99 (above MSRP). I should have immediately known it wasn’t right when the cellophane did not completely wrap the entire box. The sides of the box were sticking out unwrapped and the plastic appeared heat warped in multiple areas. I have purchased one of these before from a different game store on release day. It did not look like this AT ALL. I continued opening anyways as I thought guardian would never do this. Once I opened the box, the packs were facing the wrong way. They appear to have been cut at the bottom and resealed. (See picture). Packs felt like they had been handled already and were way too easy to open. They weren’t tight like a new pack. Typically, there’s a bit of tension on the adhesive on the back down the middle. These packs lacked any resistance when ripping and nearly tore completely. I’ve opened too many packs to count, it’s never this easy. Consider me not surprised when ZERO of these SIX packs contained an ex, illustration, or special energy. Just 6 suspicious holos. As someone that collects and is trying to complete this set, I have never had this happen in any Pokemon product. If I bought 6 single packs … maybe (again, unlikely ). I’ve never had a Booster be empty. Especially this expansion. Pokemon wants fans to keep buying, they know to include “ a hit “. Boosters are literally supposed to “boost” the deck. This did nothing. Don’t believe me ? Look at the copious amount of ripping videos of this same product. Nobody gets only holos or we’d hear about that being a problem. Disappointing. I liked coming here for their gear. Should have known better to buy from LGS with scalper prices. Show less

No only because of their impressive setup or their massive inventory - I went in with no idea what to get my husband for his stocking, other than knowing he enjoys Magic, and the woman helping me was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She took the time to point me in the right direction, and I left with two packs of cards, a collector’s pack, special dice, and a rolling mat tube. I can't recommend them enough. This is hands down the greatest local game store I've ever been to. The selection inside is mind blowing and extremely well organized. They had very rare games that were hard to find even online. The staff was extraordinarily welcoming and helpful giving many recommendations with detailed descriptions of each game and how they work, it was very clear the man I was talking to knew all about board games. I didn't have a chance to play anything from their expansive game wall or magic in their huge playing area. They seemed to also sell alcohol which is a huge bonus for some people. Overall this local game store is jaw dropping and i would recommend going out of your way to check this place out. Show less

The staff was extraordinarily welcoming and helpful giving many recommendations with detailed descriptions of each game and how they work, it was very clear the man I was talking to knew all about board games. I didn't have a chance to play anything from their expansive game wall or magic in their huge playing area. They seemed to also sell alcohol which is a huge bonus for some people.
