It's was such a dreamy experience. The cats were all so lovely at it was so much fun just playing with them. There were not many visitors, so the cats weren't tired or exhausted in any way. I think that visiting jennymiaw is not about eating the most perfect food, but about having a good time with those lovely cats. I'd recommend going in the morning so that the cats aren't tired or overstimulated already. I would recommend this Cat Café to everyone, who adores this cute little fellas❤️ Show less

I was excited to come here, but left feeling very disappointed. I gave 2 stars because the included drinks were good and I liked the snacks, although you do have to be careful to avoid getting cat hair in your food. I didn't like how there were many cups and snack trays left from previous customers, as well as several straw wrappers. The dishes were left the whole time I was there, which took up a lot of space that could have been used by customers. There are around 30 cats in a single room that is the size of a bedroom. Aside from the litter closet, the cats have nowhere to hide away from other cats/humans, leading them to be very stressed. I was only there for around 30 minutes, and I saw multiple cats hiss, growl, and try to scratch each other. Seeing how stressed they were was upsetting to see as a cat owner, and I felt like I couldn't have a good time because of this. I've been to multiple cat cafes (all of which have had more space), and I have never seen this aggressive behavior before, so I felt concerned. Perhaps the owner could downsize the amount of cats, or add some shelves and steps to the bare walls to provide more space for the cats so they can establish their own territories away from others. Something else that bothered me was how people are left in the cat room unsupervised. They have rules on the walls and a security camera in the corner, but people commonly ignore these rules, and I don't think they check the security camera constantly. I think they did not consider that the average person does not know how to read a cat's body language or how to touch a cat. While I was there, I saw multiple people trying to pick up cats who were clearly agitated, which led to a few people being scratched. What made me decide to leave was when I saw a girl (maybe in her 20's) try to "play" with the Maine coon by repeatedly smacking its face with a wand toy. The cat was clearly stressed-- it was hissing, growling, and cowering, and its nail was stuck on the toy while the girl kept yanking the wand. The cat was clearly in high emotional distress, and I felt upset and angry with this and decided to leave early. The bad reviews with people complaining about "mean and arrogant cats" show how people are clueless about how cats need their space and don't understand that cats will approach you when they want to. Many people do not realize that you can't force an interaction with a cat. Putting a staff member in the room at all times could easily protect not just the cats from stress, but also visitors who don't know how to interact with a cat from being scratched. Personally, I would not mind paying a little extra for additional staff members to ensure that everyone is having a good time and the space can be kept cleaner, as well as more toys and hides. I truly wish Jennymiaw Cat Cafe the best, and I really hope to see your business thrive and attract even more customers. Hopefully you can take my feedback into consideration. =) I would love to come back if it can be improved Response to the owner: I have kept cats for several years, so I am familiar with how they react when they're stressed versus playing. For the examples I listed, the cats' body language was showing that they were clearly stressed..... cowering, hissing, ears were back. That is not playful behavior. Additionally, what concerns me is the number of cats that were in that small room. Even if they are being rotated out, a single room should not have that many cats in it, because cats are territorial and require a certain amount of space per cat Show less

There were a bunch of kids there (some speaking Korean) and they were so annoying. Stomping around, intentionally scaring the cats like making a punching motion, actually hitting and kicking the cats, and shouting at the top of their lungs. Their teacher was barely in control and seemed so uninterested and always on her phone. There was no staff to monitor the room the cats kept slipping out of the door (one even knows how to open the door). The staff was sleeping on the first floor. Show less

85k dong for 3 hours of kitty play time, unlimited drinks and snacks. Cats are all well cared for, well ventilated (no bad smells), and good AC. Also open late which is a bonus!
