The owner is a phenomenal communicator, from the emails to the newsletters, to the social media posts. If you have questions, they have answers. The staff are also focused on serving their community, hosting Used Game Swaps twice a year, allowing people to sell their games for store credit. While the prices can feel steep at times, but that's a price I'm almost always willing to pay for a friendly neighborhood game store that feels like visiting family every time I walk in. Show less

Sadly if someone damages or takes a peace of my game your or I in this scenario are out of luck. But I still would have to pay. Sorry I am not made of money. I wish there was a free space to use which is why I am forced to use the ymca on Thurston ave. Just Gave has been one of my favorite places to stop for games for a while now. They have a good selection of board games and card games with role playing as well. The game rental shelf is also a great idea, allowing you to try it a game before you buy. I was also very impressed that they set up a table in an elementary STEM night to show off some of the more recent educational/problem solving games for kids. Show less

Only been here once, but I certainly can see myself returning simply because of the staff. However, holy hells is this place expensive. Everything that I browsed is at or above MSRP. I genuinely can't see myself paying the prices asked here. Mayhaps that'll change if I find myself attached to the store in some way, shape, or form in the future. Until then, I can't see myself really coming in here to buy specific product. I must've been spoiled by my old LGS as this specific store doesn't quite hit the mark. However, looking aside from the prices, this is the better of the stores between Millennium and Just Games. This is the one I'm going to give a chance here in Rochester and it's the further drive for me. Plus the staff are great. That can't be understated. Show less

My ranking is that this place along with most others is more focused on making money. All be it better the most others. I do not believe it should cost anything to get a table and play with your friends. However it also appears space is limited but unless you have money to spend they don't want you... Read more

However it also appears space is limited but unless you have money to spend they don't want you here. 5 dollars to rent games is resonable but if you own the games and you show up you still have to pay. Sadly if someone damages or takes a peace of my game your or I in this scenario are out of luck. But I still would have to pay. Sorry I am not made of money. I wish there was a free space to use which is why I am forced to use the ymca on Thurston ave. Its free and I invite others who can't afford 5 or ten dollars a week to use the free locations whe you can. Show less

Just Gave has been one of my favorite places to stop for games for a while now. They have a good selection of board games and card games with role playing as well. The game rental shelf is also a great idea, allowing you to try it a game before you buy. I was also very impressed that they set up a table in an elementary STEM night to show off some of the more recent educational/problem solving games for kids. Show less

This is a really nice LGS. I actually really like this place. It's got a comfy atmosphere, good lighting, friendly staff. Only been here once, but I certainly can see myself returning simply because of the staff. However, holy hells is this place expensive. Everything that I browsed is at or above MSRP. I genuinely can't see myself paying the prices asked here. Mayhaps that'll change if I find myself attached to the store in some way, shape, or form in the future. Until then, I can't see myself really coming in here to buy specific product. I must've been spoiled by my old LGS as this specific store doesn't quite hit the mark. However, looking aside from the prices, this is the better of the stores between Millennium and Just Games. This is the one I'm going to give a chance here in Rochester and it's the further drive for me. Plus the staff are great. That can't be understated. Show less

Nice play area that is definitely used heavilly by magic players, but there is plenty of room for board gamers. This place is also great for its sales (recent sale had 15 off on all games with some 50 and 75 off...including seti for 50 percent off).
