Very friendly people but their trade in value for cards is very poor. Also some of the singles they are selling are very high on price for the condition some of these cards are in. Example, a lightly played base bulbasaur (ungraded) with a huge white spot on the back is going for about 99$ while a g... Read more

Very friendly people but their trade in value for cards is very poor. Also some of the singles they are selling are very high on price for the condition some of these cards are in. Example, a lightly played base bulbasaur (ungraded) with a huge white spot on the back is going for about 99$ while a graded bulbasaur scoring a PSA 10 will go for upwards 150$. Can't say id but singles from here, some of these cards are a priced well but alot of them are just a bit extreme. Overall, great people and service though as well as a fun place to go and hangout, definitely check out the table top room they got. Show less

Have been a solid place to shop for MSRP. Owner is a cool guy who seems to work his ass off, however todays experience warrants an immediate 1 star review lol. Went in simply to buy a precon, some packs and see the trade value of two items. When I asked about the trade in price he quoted me at 50% which is fine. The cards are about 30 usd each so I figured I'd check online for the policy. I accidently looked up level up games, not this level up. Which has better trade in values. A young man with bleach blone hair and pale white skins looked and sassily says "that's not us" to which i was like oh my mistake it says level up games lol. I then asked if there was a policy I could look at, for reference and future trades to see if they ever did over 50%. His attitude continued and he says "no" nothing else. I told him the attitude wasn't appreciated and the owner is cool and never acts like that. I then got on my phone and found the policy in minutes 😆. Then I told my partner we wouldn't be trading the cards in. I proceeded to get help intentionally from another clerk with cat ears a girl whose there often and delightful. He then came back up to us at the register and asked if I found the number I was looking for. Not only was this guy rude. He didn't listen to me at all, thought I said I was going to call the owner or something. Told him I got a personal number for that xD. What an awful experience. You guys can do better lol. This has been my favorite retro gaming store for about three or four years. Everyone here is always friendly, the store is spacious, and they have a great variety of games at fair prices. I’ve only ever had positive experiences, and I truly think this is the best gaming store in Minnesota. The only issue I’ve encountered was recently, when my friend—who looks a bit younger—wasn’t allowed to purchase an M-rated game. In Minnesota, there’s actually no law requiring stores to refuse M-rated games to anyone under 17. There used to be a rule, but it was found unconstitutional and isn’t enforceable anymore. So, I think it was just the store’s policy or maybe the cashier being extra cautious. I also thought it was a bit unfair because I was able to buy an M-rated game just the day before, and my friend is actually older than I am. That said, I still really love this store and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great retro gaming shop. I’ve built my entire Xbox collection here, including the console itself non of the less this is a amazing store and I love it with all my heart. Show less

This has been my favorite retro gaming store for about three or four years. Everyone here is always friendly, the store is spacious, and they have a great variety of games at fair prices. I’ve only ever had positive experiences, and I truly think this is the best gaming store in Minnesota.
