Super venue offering something a little different. Popped in on Sunday evening to lose, at a variety of games, to my Wife. We had fun and the beef chilli 🌶️ was as tasty as I remember it. Looking forward to coming back soon 👏🏾

The lady and gentlemen who run this place kindly advised the games that would suit to start with. They explained the rules and made sure we are getting there helping out here and there. Very nice guys! The choice of food is simple but everyone can find popular favourites: as I remember we had burgers, curry, and noodles soup. It was good quality lunch. I absolutely loved the flower tea- it's stunning to watch. Show less

You have to spend a minimum of 21.50 per person, regardless of session time! The place had a lovely vibe and the music was perfect for the session I had with my friends. BUT the pricing model on this cafe is very divisive, the session costs £6.50 plus a £15 per person minimum spend on food and drink. This restriction means you have to spend a minimum of £21.50 for each person, is the reason I will not return here. I would greatly appreciate a time limit so that booths can be cleared faster and people don't overstay, or a smaller minimum spend per person. Mind you for a whole day £21.50 is not bad at all, so if you wanted to spend a whole day there fantastic. However, if you wanted to pop in for a quick session, you would still have to pay the total amount, which for me is unacceptable. Show less

I've been going to the Library Pot for almost two years now, and it's always a fun time! The meet-up activities and mahjong games are my favourite , and the atmosphere is great for meeting new people. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to socialize and have a good time!

We played- -Watermelon Chess (3/5) interesting concept, easy to play, wish the board was bigger so this game could carry on! -The Fuzzies (X2) - fan fave would recommend!! (5/5!) -Nice Buns (4/5); interesting strategy game! -Jenga (X2) (5/5); classic, very nostalgic play! 💕 Highly recommend getting the flower teas for the experience of unravelling! I’ve been to a few game cafes before but would say this has been my favourite one! The Library pot is decorated with a very cozy and welcoming vibe. Even the toilet is decorated, you go through a Tardis door. It is very quirky and has lots of great things to appreciate. They have over 800 games and counting, they receive new games on the regular, so their collection is continuously growing. I cannot thank the staff there enough, they are so welcoming and take the time to give you a tour and explain things if you’re new. They also take the time to explain and show you new games - we thoroughly enjoyed playing Jaipur, a game they taught us and helped us learn. They are so patient and enthusiastic with games, it makes the experience there more fun. The food was great too, we had nibbles like the nacho chips and Karage chicken. And we had mains as well, we both ordered Chicken Catsu curry, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed for a good few hours, but we would’ve stayed longer had I not needed to catch my train. This is such a great Games cafe and by far one of the best I’ve ever been too. Would highly recommend and I would definitely come back. Thank you. Show less

Thank you. Show less

I love the concept, and it’s not the first board game cafe I go to, but the execution is a let down. A flat fee of £6.50 per person is fair, but you add the £15 minimum spend per person, plus a 10% service charge (also applied to the £6.50 fee to play!), and it gets to the point where you’re better... A flat fee of £6.50 per person is fair, but you add the £15 minimum spend per person, plus a 10% service charge (also applied to the £6.50 fee to play!), and it gets to the point where you’re better off buying your own games to play at home. Add to this the fact that the food is frozen and not very appetising, and it really just doesn’t seem worth it. If you’re obligated to spend money on food and drink, you would expect more effort to be made with the food - but maybe I’m out of touch and paying £10 for pot noodles or £17 for a frozen chicken burger and a few fries is the new norm.
