You can do your homework and research a game on boardgamegeek.com or just ask the staff for suggestions. I don't agree with the previous review that said you need 3 players min. There are plenty of small 2 player games to choose from. This is a great place for a date or just a night out with your friends. I would suggest maybe having an organizational system though, so that games are easy to find. It would be nice to have a list of all the games and where to find it on the shelves. I do wish they served smoothies or coffee but that's nit picky. Show less

We had so much fun with lots of different games here. The concept of little tents for privacy is so creative and fun! And you can’t beat the price. We initially looked for something like escape rooms but those were expensive. So this offers a perfectly cozy, budget-friendly space for friend gatherings! Show less

Their game library has an amazing selection, from family games to strategy games from the hobby. Their play area is impressive, with multiple, large private tents and gaming tables inside to follow social distancing rules. They charge for play space and library access, but my friend and I were welcomed to play for free when we walked in that weekend (low foot traffic). They have a good (though much smaller) selection of new games for sale. They also have small gifts, snacks, and drinks (non-alcoholic) as well. The owner is welcoming and helpful! I am excited to come back to play games from their game library and to show patronage. In a few more months, I hope this place will be filled with friends and family with big smiles. Great experience with a family of 4, you might be able to add 2 more kids but it might be too tight for the canopy . It was not that pricey , at the time we paid $3 per person per hour. There was a person that was knowledgeable about the games and helped quite a bit.

I was walking around looking at the *literally* THOUSANDS of games they have for you to play. Every game I could think of (and I've played a lot of board games) was there, and there were many more that I didn't recognize. I'd come to purchase a very specific game, and while the have a decent selection of games to purchase, that's not their main business. You can pay (a very reasonable) price to sit at a table and play any of the games on hand. The price is per person, per hour. At first I couldn't think of how this might be useful, but on careful reflection, even with 3 friends, and a couple of hours, it's going to cost way less than a meal, or movie. Also of note, you don't need to clean your house, corral your pets, or ignore your kids (joking, mostly). They've got drinks and snacks you can buy, and if you're looking to find the next hit game for your group, the price to sit and peruse the game library to find something appropriate is much lower than buying a game that turns out to be terrible. It's a hard to categorize business model, but the size of their game library, and the low prices, make this worth checking out. Show less

Groups next to us were screaming and yelling which is fine, but it’s the fact that we were only a few inches away from everyone. Either have more room for people or have noise level policy. I brought my own board game, and really didn’t mind paying the rental fee just for the table but I was there for an hour and fifteen minutes before closing and was charged 2 hours. Which, again i wouldn’t mind if there was any value in it. You’re essentially paying 3$ per person to play on a park bench. Actually worse than a park bench because at least you’d have less noise and more space. On top of that there was ZERO atmosphere no music, decorations, or nice lighting. I didn’t even buy anything and I still felt overcharged, water was $2.50 EACH FOR ARROWHEAD BOTTLES. Didn’t even bother looking at anything else after. This is NOT A CAFE like some reviews claim it’s more like a single fridge with up charged drinks. Definitely not worth your time or money. There are better places that don’t charge to play board games within a mile, and feature REAL cafes. Show less

There is a section where you can play games that is private but it sounded like the groups were having a great time. The gaming area looked very cool like an urban glamping spot. Also good place for toys and trinkets for anime and magna. No Pokemon cards, but who has those any more (thanks, resellers). Very cool store and my kids loved the game that they helped me pick out, King of Tokyo. Show less
