Great place to support great people and a small business! I work as a freelancer in the events industry. I first came across this location for a gig. The owner Adam and his staff could NOT have been more kind! The team was as much friendly as they were professional. It's made me want to return here as a customer, despite not being much of a gamer! The venue is great, super cool vibe, nice and clean too :) Definitely check it out if you're a gamer! And make sure to say hi to the staff :) Show less

Great place to support great people and a small business! I work as a freelancer in the events industry. I first came across this location for a gig. Hosted my husband's birthday here, and the place is amazing! Everyone loved the place - very highly recommended! All the gaming couches and equipment were pristinely clean and felt like new. The atmosphere was great, and the music was on fire. And sooo many games. We could've spent the whole night there. The cocktails were super inventive, visually appealing, and generous. The best part was the staff - EVERYONE was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. Especially working with Adam to plan the party, he was very flexible and accommodating about times and us bringing in party supplies. Chicago absolutely needed a cool, upbeat, and chill place like this for gamers to hangout, and Midlane delivered 110%. You should definitely check this place out! It's an amazing time! Show less

This is such a great space. We (froSkate) were invited to host a game night at Midlane to increase our effort of making space for our community. A few highlights included: the drinks, which were themed, delicious, and SO cool looking, smash, which most of our attendees (+ other peeps who just happened to be here) played round over round of, tony hawk pro skater, and one big ol' game of uno :) We were also able to play some skate videos on the projector. Very cool experience. I would say it reminds of an internet cafe. I was able to play for hours undisturbed which was nice but also would be cool to order from either the computer or somewhere else. Idk if I missed that somewhere but really cool either way! Side note for anyone that uses their own accounts, I'm not sure how they removed your steam information off the computer but I'd recommend after going to change your logins just go be safe. (In no way did the establishment look like they wanted to steal any ones accounts 😂) Show less

The staff was super laid back, friendly, and helpful, the lounge itself is on the smaller side but tbh I liked it because it had more of a personable and neighborhood vibe. I LOVE their hour banking system so if you don’t use up the time you paid for you can come back and use up the rest of your time in a 3-month period. The drinks were great, decent selection of games to play (I even got to use my own Steam account), and the prices were reasonable too. Definitely will be coming back, might be my new spot! Show less

I LOVE their hour banking system so if you don’t use up the time you paid for you can come back and use up the rest of your time in a 3-month period. Vibes were great, lots of chicago vgm "personalities" really turned out for it and its awesome to finally have a space for a scene. Can't speak to the esports lounge of it all as much because I was mostly here for music and drinks, but I can say that it was all excellent. Bartenders and cocktail menu are wonderful, they really know what they're doing and you cant go wrong with any mixed drink. The staff is superior, always friendly. They help you and understand your needs. 2. The location is really nice, restaurants nearby but also good food/ drinks inside. 3. Very clean !!! 4. I had to play different tournaments from their locations and it felt amazing! 5. You can find people to play there and make new friends 🙏 6. A really good deal to play the entire month for 80$ …. We booked my son's 13th birthday party that included 24 kids at Midlane Esports and it was an amazing experience. It was the perfect activity for teenaged boys and the venue was really impressive--plenty of screens and a wide variety of games available for them to play. We had a huge group and so had a private party time and it was great because smaller groups of kids at the party engaged in different group games with one another. We worked with Adam to book the party and he was great, having ordered pizzas for the group and asking questions about whether certain games they requested were OK with us. The pricing on the party was amazing, I was so pleased with everything. A few parents stuck around to wait and we enjoyed drinks and conversation at the bar while watching games. It was altogether a great afternoon for everyone and I would highly recommend it! Show less
