Really cool location, and at least for board games has a pretty solid stock. I don't do minis or collectibles, so I can't speak for that one, but the board games and cards were great. The owner reached out a couple days after I had my first purchase there, which I thought was a really personalizing touch. That said, reaching out a couple days after that asking for a review, when I'd never consented to get any sort of texts like that, didn't sit well with me. First time into Misos was just the other week. My good friend Charles Browy put me onto this store, primarily for the Gundam TCG. I was pleasantly surprised by not only them having the new Gundam set but also carrying my other favorite TCGs like Pokemon and MTG! And even more pleasantly surprised by them having a purchase limit on certain items, especially with the current climate of most TCGs. Not only does Misos carry your favorite trading card games and accessories they also carry a WIDE (I can’t emphasize that enough) variety of action figures, collectibles, table top games/accessories, etc…ON TWO FLOORS! I was only able to check out the bottom floor but will be checking out the top floor when I return. The staff was amazing a super friendly. I got to meet and speak with the owner Chris, who followed up with me after my visit which I found to be an awesome extra touch of customer service, and I was rang up with Brad and a super nice woman who’s name escapes me (I’m so sorry!). All around it was a great experience and even though I live in Indiana, Misos will definitely be in my LGS rotation! Definitely one of the top 3 LGS in the area right now. - Jude Show less

First time into Misos was just the other week. My good friend Charles Browy put me onto this store, primarily for the Gundam TCG. I was pleasantly surprised by not only them having the new Gundam set but also carrying my other favorite TCGs like Pokemon and MTG! And even more pleasantly surprised by them having a purchase limit on certain items, especially with the current climate of most TCGs. Shoutout to Brad for the great service, I’ve been to many hobby shops across Louisville, and this was one of the most easy relationship building service members I’ve ever met. Brad was the most complete, genuine, transparent, caring and humble manager I’ve ever met running a hobby shop. And shout out to Zack as well, rare to meet another “Zack with a K” these days believe it or not it, I kinda swayed him into dropping what he was doing and help make a deal happen for the shop. Zack was awesome, he gave me a fair deal and made me priority over what he had going on, that was super cool. I never return again the first time I was here it was great and yesterday 12/13/2025 there were 30 minutes left for them to close and I bought this action figure, when I got home, I opened and noticed that it lacked accessories and that other parts were broken, today I returned and showed them what they sold me and they told me that they could not do anything about it that they do not accept returns, make sure if you buy something here to check before paying I trusted them and they sold me something that is useless And something very important that I want to make clear the girl who took my payment never told me that I could check the item before paying it was 30 minutes before they closed the weather was horrible outside I just wanted to pay and leave I never thought the item had any problem, they could put that information next to the price note so the customers know what they are buying, and I didn't come back that night it was because they had already closed that's why I waited the next day I didn't damage the figure it was already broken Show less

I've been coming here for several months for D&D and recently purchased some Funko Pops. I absolutely love the welcoming atmosphere for gamers! Lots of tables and chairs, plus plenty of snacks and drinks to purchase at reasonable prices. I've never felt out of place here or unwelcome due to my gender, which has been a huge issue for me at many gaming places. At Miso's, all are welcome with open arms. I love the Funko selection here! Many are reasonably priced to the point I can't decide which ones to take home. A friend and I spent well over an hour combing through all of them, completely engrossed in conversations many of them inspired. The staff was very helpful when we had questions about price and item location, but also happy to let us browse at our leisure uninterrupted. I'm very much looking forward to many happy years hanging out at Miso's! It has absolutely become my happy place. Show less

I’m a huge Star Wars fan, let me preface. And honestly I was going around looking for a card game and came across Miso’s for a card game, not even Star Wars related. I was stunned not just that they had the game I was looking for but they had some Empire themed Death Star Wooden LED panels that I had been looking for for at least 4 years. Their selection of Star Wars memorabilia was second only to Galaxies Edge at Disney World. So unless you are in Orlando all the time, you can’t get any better than this. They had action figures, games, and even some specialty light sabers. Ezra Bridger! I was so excited. Anyway, I highly recommend the shop. You won’t be disappointed. Show less

I was stunned not just that they had the game I was looking for but they had some Empire themed Death Star Wooden LED panels that I had been looking for for at least 4 years. Their selection of Star Wars memorabilia was second only to Galaxies Edge at Disney World. So unless you are in Orlando all the time, you can’t get any better than this. They had action figures, games, and even some specialty light sabers. Ezra Bridger! I was so excited. Anyway, I highly recommend the shop. You won’t be disappointed. Show less

This is simply my favorite game shop in town. They have a good selection of board games and they are easily the best miniature game shop in the area. In addition they have dedicated spaces for playing card/board games in the basement and a dedicated upstairs setup for miniature games. There are consistently tons of games going on. They're consignment section can also lend itself to some great deals. The staff is also very friendly. Despite the fact I often times come in and just setup to do demos and study for school, the staff are always glad to see me, even though I'm not buying more than an energy drink most days. Show less

Miso's was an incredible shopping experience! First of all, as far as miniature gaming, the store offers a lot! From Battletech minis, to basing material, dice, playing area, etc. It was an impressive stock of stuff, priced competively. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I live a couple of hours away from Louisville, which is why I have another thing to look forward to when I come to the city: a good place to buy miniatures and supplies for my hobby at good prices, which is very important.
