A great space to play games. With a basement type area, and the upstairs area which are both quite spacious and kept neat and tidy. They are also just well decorated. The upstairs has magic cards as a kind of wallpaper which is very cool. They also have a great selection of board games and warhamme... Read more

What a lovely game shop! Lots of tables for activities, including a basement level of it gets too hot during the heat wave. The staff were very friendly and helpful - we really enjoyed playing D&D here! No outside food or drink and only one bathroom shop when it got busy it was a bit lively. Absolut... Read more

Put a preorder for JT in January and didn’t receive the booster boxes. Emailed numerous times for an update and didn’t get a response. Pre ordered a mini tin and a poster collection for the latest pokemon set black bold and white flare. A few days after the release I hadn't recieved any tracking info, I decided to call to speak to someone. Called 3 times and no answer. Then when I emailed I got a fast response from Jamie stating he would get the order sent the following Monday or Tuesday. End of day Tuesday and nothing had changed. I emailed again on the Wednesday morning and didn't hear anything so then emailed again on Wednesday evening at 9pm. Jamie emailed me back at 10:43pm with tracking info. Two days later I received my items, the box was damaged which was disappointing after having to chase just to get tracking info. I think the slightly inflated RRP price plus the experience, I wouldn't recommend someone to shop here. Show less

Worst LGS experience in two decades and three continents of gaming. Walked in ready to drop money on MTG singles and there's 90 plus folders behind the counter from all different sets. Told I couldn't look through as they're not catalogued yet and that the only available singles were online and a few in a small display which were mostly bulk. Also told cards in the folders may be in an order so they could not risk selling....but how could they be ordered if not online, how is store unable to track orders? Checked online, only a limited selection. While I wanted to get a big flashy card I would have also settled to chase older cards and bulk to fill slots in decks, but this place wasn't having it. Store wasn't well laid out, was dark and unwelcoming. I got the feeling they support a core local group and that's great for them, but if you're from out of town, skip this place. Show less

Just wanted to pick up some cards I saw they had available to pick up… wouldn’t recommend. Literally every MTG card shop I’ve been to has binders to flip through and cards in stock to buy, however the staff said to just look online and order on there. Coming from America to visit Edinburgh and pick up some cards on my travels and the staff didn’t even bother. Seen other reviews here and it’s been 3+ months of them shifting to this online order style. What’s the point? Plus looking online to see what they have and 80% of it is ‘out of stock’ why show it on the website then? Also can’t just look at bulk online unless I delve into the specific set. Let me look at all the ie. ‘red/white cards’ that’s in stock. Most other stores in Edinburgh the staff have been super friendly and what’s expected of Scottish hospitality, how do you expect to get more people into the hobby when this is the interaction you get from staff? Nobody wants to talk in person these days such a shame :/ Show less
