They had a bunch of games you can play at the booths, a pool table, etc. A great bar/restaurant all around. One of tour guides recommended it and we love local places. super clean, good people, not too expensive or loud and open later than most places Show less

The place is great. The drinks are decently priced, and the atmosphere is fun. We went during holidays; they had people singing Christmas carols and having a great time. The patio out back was nice and had a lot of character.

Lisa is the sweetest and most wonderful person ever. The crawfish Mac here is so tasty and the atmosphere is great. My boyfriend and I love coming here to play pool, as well as the board games.

As an out of towner looking to watch the bears game a couple weeks ago this place was great. Many TVs showing variety of games. Friendly bartenders and good beer selection. Great food at the patio, had some charbroiled oysters and the gumbo, which they serve with potato salad, both very good.

Crawfish mac n cheese was amazing, we had to go back just for seconds of that. Sandwiches also were great, super happy to go back here. Service was a bit slow but not crazy. Sports bar vibes but 2 nice back outside areas when it’s nice out

Went here to watch a game and sat out in the courtyard. The deal is that you order drinks at the bar and food in the courtyard. It works great if you just follow the system. We got the chicken sandwich, chargrilled oysters, and gumbo. All great.

A Magical Stop in the French Quarter — Bubbles, Beer, and a Bit of Jeopardy Stopped into MRB Bar & Kitchen on a warm June afternoon for a cold beer and to see what all the bubble controversy was about. I’m glad I did — it turned out to be one of those unexpectedly great stops that make wandering New Orleans so fun. The beer was ice cold, the courtyard was relaxed, and yes — the bubbles really did make it feel magical. They floated through the air like something out of a dream, adding just the right touch of charm and whimsy. Inside, Jeopardy! was playing on the TV, and there’s something oddly comforting about sipping a beer while half-watching trivia with a local crowd chiming in with answers. Whether you’re chasing bubbles or just looking for a solid place to cool off, MRB is a vibe. Definitely worth a visit! Show less

Very friendly, you place your food order out in the back and order your drinks at the bar. Would've never thought I would get the best chargrilled oysters and fish sandwich on just the looks from the outside, but it was recommended by a friend when she found out we'd be in town. Activity 4: Dinner at MRB Bar & Kitchen 🍔 📍515 St Philip St, New Orleans, LA 70116 After a full day of sightseeing, we were ready to eat dinner and lucky for us, MRB Bar & Kitchen was one of the restaurants included in our Go City Pass. 🍽 Here’s how it works: • The pass gets you one of four meal options, each valued at $19. • When you walk in, it feels like a divey neighborhood bar. Keep walking all the way to the back for the food counter. • They’ll scan your pass, and you can choose to sit indoors or in the backyard patio (where they sometimes have live music too). Hubby ordered the River Bottom Burger Combo, and I went all in on the Chicken Fried Alligator Sandwich Combo. Surprisingly? Fried gator tastes a lot like fried chicken, crunchy and totally worth the try. You can also order beers/drinks at the bar. We both agreed that getting a full meal covered by the pass? Major win.
