In an era when the market is crowded with 'local game stores' popping in every strip mall, Opal Games truly stands out. Welcoming, warm, well curated, and dare I say, joyful, Opal Games is a gem. I stopped in looking for a gift for my nephews, and they had great recommendations that were a home run ("we have this in my game corner at school. I love it," he said). On a whim I asked if they had an out of print game, and while they didn't have it on hand, they went above and beyond, found a distributor to sort it, and arranged shipping it to my house out of state. They have the most complete selection of modern board games of all weights, including Party Games and 2 Player Only Games. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and are willing to spend the time helping you find exactly what you're looking for in the realm of board games. When I finally ordered through their website online (which was so easy), they processed and prepared the order right away. I have mobility issues, and when I went to pick up one of their staff members was kind enough to bring my order right out to me! Love the help and the high level of customer service.
