Pandemonium is the gold standard for friendly local game stores in the Lavonia Westland Plymouth area. The store is clean, well lit, and impeccably organized. The store is always well staffed, and the team there will always hand you off to someone who will have the answer to your question if they don’t have it themselves. What motivated me to make this review, is there policy of limiting sales of hot product by placing a cap per person per day when there are items that are exceptionally difficult to track down. It really conveys to me that they are a store that is about the games they play and not trying to sell collectible cardboard squares to whoever will pay the most money for them. The location has an exceptional amount of open place space, as well as a robust calendar of organized events. They have adverse selection of snack and beverages available, and is generally just a pretty great place to play. Show less

Pandemonium is the gold standard for friendly local game stores in the Lavonia Westland Plymouth area. The store is clean, well lit, and impeccably organized. The store is always well staffed, and the team there will always hand you off to someone who will have the answer to your question if they don’t have it themselves. Don’t know where to start, I’ll admit I have some fault in this matter even though it was insanely blown out of proportion and wasn’t intentional I have been a loyal customer for the past couple years and really got back to TCG this past couple of months and I’m sure I’ve spend more than $1k here in that span. It’s incredibly disheartening when you are publicly ostracized In a space you though you were welcomed. I’ve had good experiences some of their employees are really helpful and friendly but the issue lies with the manager he always seemed cold and rude , but I just never thought anything of it. This is the story I met with someone on fb marketplace and bought a card in the parking lot, the manager was in the car next to us the whole time so if I knew it was an issue I wouldn’t have done it in the first place. we were nearing the end of the transaction and I’ve paid him electronically he’s handed me the card then we here a shout come out of the car that they don’t allow transactions on the property and to leave area, I quickly apologized and told him we were done But he kept shouting the same thing so we left. Couple of days later I went back to the store like I said I am an actual shopper and didn’t think much of the situation that happened, in my mind it he got mad I won’t do that again . Any way I picked up the new Pokemon tin and about to check out all I hear is him shouting , store getting quiet and he keeps going . I felt so embarrassed like why couldn’t you talk to me privately when I just walked in, I was literally asking you questions about the new one piece set yet you had to wait until there was an audience ? I’ll post a pic to show I wasn’t the seller and I thought oh wow 2 birds with one stone I can meet up with the guy and see what they have , I in fact did buy some cards before this took place Show less

This place used to be my go to spot for a long time, really this place is amazing with a couple of bad eggs (employees). I wont mention any names other than Holly only because of how shockingly rude and nasty she was. I was waiting in line for a drop a while back until all of a sudden holly just starts screaming at the guy in front of me. All he did was question why a whole family of 5 were allowed a booster box each when it was a very limited drop. I just patiently waited until she was done and it was my turn in line, asked for her name, left and never came back since. I understand the rush of a new drop but its really unfortunate how some employees treat customers even in stressful situations. Also you work in a card shop, if you cant follow simple limiting rules so everyone can get some, I'm not sure why you're working there. Simple incompetence and ignorance. Show less

Their online ordering process for singles for MTG is the most well thought out. They will pull the cards for you and conf... Read more

This place is my favorite LGS. I had consistently been going to some other LGS from time to time (GOB, Time Traveler's Mythic Forge, Hyperion), but this place is by far the best. Their online ordering process for singles for MTG is the most well thought out. They will pull the cards for you and confirm that they actually have them before placing them on hold for you. It is best to do the online submission form. If you just call and ask, they will try to help but it really is not fair to just put people on the spot like that and have them drop what they are doing. I cannot count how many times I have waited 3-4 days for responses for singles inquiries at other stores, paid for singles online for later in person pick up and then they did not actually have the card in stock. This place is consistent, which is what I am looking for. Everyone that works here is super approachable/friendly and don't act like you are annoying them when you are just looking to purchase singles out of the case. Show less

Reading some of these reviews is wild, and isn't indicative of my experience at all. Thinking some of these people writing one star reviews are leaving out some details lol I recently got into WH40K, and was trying to paint a glow effect onto my figures following a tutorial that listed specific paints. Unfortunately they were out of stock of the one listed, so I went up to the counter and asked the guy if he knew of an alternative from a different brand. He basically glanced at the name and goes "Oh that's a (some kind of) glaze," and calls his coworker, I believe his name was Mike, over. Tells him I need that kind of glaze in a different brand, and I'm then lead over to the paint rack where they pull out an equivalent to what I needed in seconds. And they were super chill too. I was honestly dumbfounded at how quickly they procured an alternative. All that from a made up fantasy named paint and YouTube screenshot. Ended up picking up a few more sets for my girlfriend and I, and signed up for the $50 membership. The guy who cashed me out explained it and didn't put any pressure on me like you see in other retailors nowadays. 🤷 10/10 experience. Show less

Reading some of these reviews is wild, and isn't indicative of my experience at all. Thinking some of these people writing one star reviews are leaving out some details lol I recently got into WH40K, and was trying to paint a glow effect onto my figures following a tutorial that listed specific paints. Unfortunately they were out of stock of the one listed, so I went up to the counter and asked the guy if he knew of an alternative from a different brand. He basically glanced at the name and goes "Oh that's a (some kind of) glaze," and calls his coworker, I believe his name was Mike, over. Threatened by Holly because I simply asked a question that she told me and my son that it was only 1 box per household... the next day I waited in line for about 2 hours, eventually getting to front I was welcomed by "Holly" now the people before me were a family and they grabbed about 4 boxs... I Was confused? I asked Holly very politely " i thought you guys we're checking ids? She said Are We Really Doing This Right Now?!?!?! I was like doing what? I payed for my stuff as she was talking really crazy about how I can get out and I'm not welcome here any more and that I'm banned lol I tryed to call to talk to a manager but she wouldn't let me talk to anyone and she told me she was the owner. Terrible experience and concerned on how many other people this woman treated others. I Still Love Big Mike Though Your Still The Man Brother!!!! I wouldn't give this place another chance if they paid me, I've never been treated so rudely for asking a question Show less

By everything I mean EVERYTHING was over priced with no room to make deals from singles to precons I looked at it all comparing prices from a lot of places including TCG player, Walmart and price charting. They refused to price match when I showed them they were charging double the price of all 4 bloomburrow precons (Walmart $120 for all 4, pandeminium 50 per precon) I was met with "we charge MSRP no price match" I asked "so you would rather give the sale to Walmart than match" response "yes". To end the night after my draft ($25 entry for 3 packs round robin draft of lorwyn) I got my participation pack pulled a $20 card was offered $8 in-store credit. The only time I have ever gone and probably going to be the last. Show less
