I love this place!!! Yummy breakfast sandwiches and coffee with a warm community feel. I got the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. There are events and posters with games to play. Staff was very rude but maybe they had a bad day. Pretty loud here, if you want to work or call I'd time it properly. I would return to check out the outdoor space. edit: just read through some of the reviews, seems like the rudeness is not a one-day event haha. being friendly is free! Show less

I love coming to Parkgrounds. The employees are always kind, the food and coffee is always amazing, and the ONE time they messed up my order in my many adventures here, they made it right.

Best local coffee shop in the area- treat you like a regular even when it’s your first visit! Great drinks, food, and alcohol options. Outdoor and indoor seating, community board with ongoings around town, and spectacular staff. As someone so WFH- WiFi is good, plenty of plugs, and comfy seating!

Very casual, neighborhood (Reynoldstown) cafe/dog park. Indoors, you can hang out and play a board game, outside is an attached dog park. I don't drink but they serve beer (at least). Coffee. Tasty sandwiches. I'm there with my dog(s) frequently.

Coffee was good, food was delicious, atmosphere was great. Very smart idea to have a dog park connected. Makes it very easy for people to enjoy their lunch and coffee while watching their dog play in the background.

Great little coffeeshop. They have a large, shaded, dog-friendly area out back where you can enjoy your coffee. They also have a good assortment of books inside if you want to hang out in the air conditioning.

The staff were friendly. The hummus delicious—now I want to visit the owners Greek restaurant. It’s a beautiful day so I sat outside under an umbrella. Very pleasant experience.

Google says it is dog friendly but it is really only dog friendly in the outdoor section. This is a good coffee shop, but a heads up for anyone coming with their dog on a cold day.

Love this cozy place! I have their coffee every day. Everyone who works here is genuinely nice and there's none of that weird coffee shop vibe. The outdoor area under the huge tree is gorgeous.

Definitely go here when it's not raining so you can enjoy the outside. They also have a lot of booze and decent amount of food options, along with board games and books. The only coffee on drip they had was their house blend. It wasn't anything special: had a hint of sweetness and chocolatey notes, pretty standard. I'm glad they served it at drinking temperature though so I did not have to waste time cooling it down. Super recommend this place for the vibes! Show less

Great neighborhood coffeeshop. Super friendly staff and I appreciate them hosting events such as the trivia nights or concerts on their patio space in the weekend. Also perfect to have lunch or breakfast (with enough vegetarian options on the menu) as well.

I drove from Decatur this morning to try Park Grounds because they offer vegetarian options. I ordered the Kirkwood Sandwich with veggie sausage on a croissant, and the croissant itself was absolutely perfect. However, the fried egg could have used some basic seasoning like salt and pepper, and I would have preferred a more flavorful cheese choice. While the sandwich was well made, it ultimately lacked flavor. As someone who’s been vegetarian for 14 years, I know many of us are willing to go out of our way—especially for breakfast—to find good vegetarian food in the city, but it has to deliver on taste. No knock on Park Grounds, but unless the food is better seasoned, I don’t see myself returning. Show less

Been waiting 33 minutes for my food and counting. Was told “just a few more minutes” when I asked for an update. This has happened twice now. Will not be returning. Update: We got our food all of it except a sausage patty was lukewarm. Only 4 other tables at the restaurant were occupied. Edit/Response: (1) We were not told by the barista that it would take about a half hour. We would have left if so. Maybe there was a miscommunication. (2) I worked in food service and know that the time on the ticket is not always the time the food was served to the customer. If management found the right ticket, it may explain why most of the food tasted like it had been sitting out a while when we got it. As I mentioned earlier, we will not be returning. I hope future customers don’t have the same experience we did. Show less
