There are two Pawn and Pint websites that are both 404s, the Facebook page hasn’t been updated in months, including no new event calendars, and if you google Pawn and Pint Kansas City, the AI summary says P&P is permanently closed since late 2024. Yes, they say you have to pay to park there, but read the fine print, parking is free for customers of Pawn and Pint. Just make sure you know your vehicles plate number and make sure you validate it once you get inside. So once inside, you're greeted by the super friendly door greeter. They will check your I.D., note that after 9pm all those under 21 must leave. Show you how to validate your parking, you did remember that license plate number right? Then ask for the $5.00 entry fee or proof of membership, yes it does cost to enter but you now have access to a world of games! If you're under 21 they will give you a complimentary bracelet to wear because you're so darn awesome. So now that you're inside what to do what to do? We'll the highlight here is playing tabletop games. Certain nights usually highlight specific games like MtG and other games. Some nights might even have a special theme or trivia going on. But what if you dont want to do what all the other cool kids are doing in there? We'll, you dont have to. There's plenty of tables and even a balcony so you can play your own game. What, you didn't bring a game with you? No problem, there are literally hundreds of them on the wall you can borrow while your there. After you've decided what to do and have some seating be sure to make your way to the bar where you'll find all manner of delicious drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The bartender is awesome and makes a mean cherry Coke from scratch. Prices for drinks is comparable if not a bit cheaper to average bar pricing. We had been here before but were in town visiting and deciding to try it out again. We had the best experience and best service here out of anywhere we went during our KC trip. Yes, they say you have to pay to park there, but read the fine print, parking is free for customers of Pawn and Pint. Just make sure you know your vehicles plate number and make sure you validate it once you get inside. So once inside, you're greeted by the super friendly door greeter. They will check your I.D., note that after 9pm all those under 21 must leave. Show you how to validate your parking, you did remember that license plate number right? Then ask for the $5.00 entry fee or proof of membership, yes it does cost to enter but you now have access to a world of games! If you're under 21 they will give you a complimentary bracelet to wear because you're so darn awesome. So now that you're inside what to do what to do? We'll the highlight here is playing tabletop games. Certain nights usually highlight specific games like MtG and other games. Some nights might even have a special theme or trivia going on. But what if you dont want to do what all the other cool kids are doing in there? We'll, you dont have to. There's plenty of tables and even a balcony so you can play your own game. What, you didn't bring a game with you? No problem, there are literally hundreds of them on the wall you can borrow while your there. After you've decided what to do and have some seating be sure to make your way to the bar where you'll find all manner of delicious drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The games are very well organized, making it easy to find something fun to play. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help if needed. One suggestion I have is to add a barcode or QR code to the shelves that links to a list of games available, along with descriptions. I suppose for the right person, this place would be fine. We've gone twice in the past few months after thinking it had closed. We now know why it had closed. Halloween and New Years were basic fare, trivia, some silly games. Fairly packed as far as bodies. But the place has a greasy, dirty air to ... Read more

I suppose for the right person, this place would be fine. We've gone twice in the past few months after thinking it had closed. We now know why it had closed. Halloween and New Years were basic fare, trivia, some silly games. Fairly packed as far as bodies. But the place has a greasy, dirty air to it. The carpets are literally disgusting, the food inedible and the drinks are sugary and made by and for folks who either don't care about cocktails or don't understand. It's like your momma's basement when you were 20 and didn't have a job. As far as the games, they have a bunch but I've heard tell many are missing pieces or are otherwise incomplete. I imagine it will be closed here again soon. No hate, just honest. Show less
