The employees are so friendly and welcoming to all people that go in. It's a nice atmosphere full of people who also like the same hobbies and games as you do. Picked up a couple Pokemon singles. The person at the counter was horrible with customer service. I asked to look through binders and he said nothing and just threw some binders down. These guys keep it pretty real. Super knowledgeable of their products and is probably my favorite card shop that I've found in town by far. They carry borderline obscure products that I've never seen elsewhere and have a shocking amount of space set up for in-house tournaments. They told me that they hold tournaments for any of the products they sell there, which is awesome. They also carry a nice collection of tabletop gaming accessories as well. Definitely going to be spending more money than I'd like to admit there. Give them a look! Show less

These guys keep it pretty real. Super knowledgeable of their products and is probably my favorite card shop that I've found in town by far. They carry borderline obscure products that I've never seen elsewhere and have a shocking amount of space set up for in-house tournaments. They told me that they hold tournaments for any of the products they sell there, which is awesome. They also carry a nice collection of tabletop gaming accessories as well. Here are my reasons for why I will not be going back to Pink Elephant and will take my business elsewhere: 1. They don't seem to care about their vulgar or harsh language in front of children. Both employees and customers will use profanity, which is inappropriate in a family-friendly environment. 2. The players there can be very rude during local events, which makes the experience unpleasant. 3. The employees are often rude. For example, when I ask them for a binder or a box of cards, they seem to throw it at me without any courtesy. They don’t even ask if I'm looking for something specific. 4. Most of the time, they can't cook food properly without burning it, which results in smoke that makes everyone’s eyes sting. 5. If any of the employees are rude, you can’t call them out without facing consequences. They might threaten to kick you out or belittle you in front of other customers, twisting your words and making you look bad. 6. Some judges during local events will claim they want to buy a card from you but offer only 40% of its value, saying it's the store buying it. However, the card often ends up in the judge's collection, which I find scandalous. 7. I've tried discussing illegal practices in tournament locals with the judges, but I’ve been brushed off repeatedly. 8. They often speak negatively about other stores for no reason, which I believe is unnecessary and unprofessional. 9. They used to offer 10% off products during events like Yu-Gi-Oh or allow you to get free entry to locals if you spent a certain amount, but those perks seem to have disappeared. They've also increased their prices for items that I could find on eBay for much less, which I consider greedy. These are the reasons why I am taking my business elsewhere. I’ve been a loyal customer at Pink Elephant for years, and while it was nice at first, the atmosphere has deteriorated significantly, making it an unpleasant place to visit. Show less

Went today for the first time to check the place out... I have two kids 6 and 10 who love Pokemon! First impression didn't feel very welcomed or engaged by staff. Worst part was foul language used by the person behind the desk in front of my 6 year old. I'm not an old hag, but just be more professional around kids. All said they were busy with inventory and a minor renovation upfront. Store has potential for sure we probably caught them at a bad time. Pricing is competitive for the most part, I'm frugal and could find most items cheaper online. We'll give it another shot someday and possibly spend some money with a better experience.. Show less

They should not call themselves a 'cafe' when they have a toaster oven to cook frozen pizza in. Only good thing about the store was their prices, which were very reasonable.
