Great place for some retro games and cheap beers. There are a few ping pong and pool tables and lots of space to just hang out.

Didn't have any food, but the drinks were good. The staff was friendly and the bartenders were super pretty.

Fun dive bar. Make sure to tie your shoes tight, if you go on the dance floor. (Pretty sticky)

this bar is a joke. they fired one of the best best bartenders because Veronica and Kenzie can’t handle not being on the center of attention. Imagine losing real talent just to protect two insecure girls. If u want to spend ur money here go ahead but don’t expect class lol. Boooooooooooo 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅

Weird atmosphere, wouldn't give my buddy a sprite when he was trying to sober up. Very awkward. 25 people in the bar, speakers full volume. Can't really conversate or mingle. Interesting! Very curious of who they are catering to.

I freaking love this place. They have classics like Galaga, Mortal Kombat, Frogger, Tetris, etc. They have Pool tables, air hockey, pinball machines and ping pong tables. They have a full bar. I’m bummed I don’t live there and can’t go like every week

We love coming here for trivia nights on Wednesdays! The couple that host are super fun & personable and make us all feel like family. Rad behind the bar does a good job with the masses, and overall it's just a fun way to spend a hump day night.

Drink prices were very reasonable and a nice selection of games, from old school cabinets and pinball machines to a few newer options as well. However, recently I’ve noticed some staff members discussing workplace drama with me and other customers. While I enjoy a little gossip, it doesn’t reflect well on Press Play. The food, drinks, and Wednesday nights have always been my favorite, but I won’t be returning unless Veronica and Kenzie’s behavior is addressed. The way they act toward customers comes across as unprofessional and isn’t good for business. I’d love to come back if the environment returns to the great atmosphere it used to be. Show less

However, the place felt unclean and a bit run down, which took away from the experience. It was surprisingly empty for a Thursday night, which made the atmosphere feel flat. The staff did not seem very friendly or engaged, and that made the visit feel unwelcoming. While it might be a spot to grab a cheap drink or play a quick game of pool, the overall vibe and cleanliness could be improved. I would only recommend it if you are looking for a low-cost option and are not too concerned with ambiance. Show less

The song selection and transitions were so utterly incomprehensible and abrupt that had I been going here for the first time, I don’t think I’d ever come back. I saw almost no one around me dancing and by the time I left, the entire dance floor was filled of fellow students who looked miserable because their outing that was supposed to a distraction from stressful finals, was instead turned into the musical equivalent of erectile dysfunction. No amount of alcohol could’ve made me enjoy my time there that night. Please for the love of all things good never hire that DJ again. Show less

I’ve been coming here for years, lots of good memories until tonight. I didn’t know you could be thrown out of a bar for being too sad, but here we are. I was leaning against the wall, watching people dance, psyching myself up to join in. But I hesitated because although I can pass for 35, I’m in my mid-40s and going through some hormonal changes. I teared up and decided to tuck myself into a corner to wait for the painful feelings to pass. It’s the sort of thing that happens. I intended to cry it out in my dark nook and go back out on the dance floor. But one of the bouncers found me and asked me to step outside. He was kind and respectful and I don’t fault him for doing his job. A good bouncer looks out for women crying alone in bars. I reassured him I wasn’t physically hurt, and the people who had hurt me emotionally had done so two years ago. I’d had roughly 3 sips of hard cider at that point and was not drunk…just depressed about aging in a hard world. He refused to let me back in, despite my having paid for a nearly-full draft and having been Again, I don’t fault the bouncer. He didn’t set the policy, he was kind and offered me a hug, but superficial pity affection is poor compensation for the door hitting your ass on the way out. I declined and left. If you’re under 40 and bringing the party, I highly recommend PP for that authentic dive bar feel, good music, cheap pool, and geeks. But if you’re over the hill or having a bad day, don’t bother coming in. Your darkness isn’t wanted here. Show less
