On June 19 around 10 PM, we visited this place. Due to the summer heat, the temperature inside was extremely high, and there was no proper air conditioning, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. The service was also very disappointing. I waited for over 30 minutes to order my drink, but no one came to take my order. Eventually, I had to go to the counter to place it myself. Even after that, the drink was only brought out after midnight—after we had asked for the bill. The staff member who served us (a bald guy with glasses) didn’t even apologize for the delay, which made the experience even more frustrating. That said, the game master was great—very helpful and professional. He made the gaming experience enjoyable despite the poor service overall. I strongly suggest adding more staff and improving service, especially considering the prices being charged. Show less

Due to the summer heat, the temperature inside was extremely high, and there was no proper air conditioning, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. The service was also very disappointing. I ordered the chicken nachos (which are usually delicious) but this time they came tasting super off. To spare you guys my life story, I’m not usually the type of person to send things back, but these were really bad, so I forced myself to do so. I ordered the chicken nachos (which are usually delicious) but this time they came tasting super off. Great board game pub with a huge selections of games. The staff are very helpful at explaining how each game works to make sure you have a great time. The food was surprisingly good and it didn't feel that it was "pub-like" at all. Very decently-sized portions at very fair prices. Of course, they also sell a variety of alcoholic drinks, which go hand-in-hand with playing board games. Some of these cocktails are made to look like elixirs or potions, from their colour all the way to the shape of the glass. The place is also very packed, almost always. If you do plan on dropping by after 5pm or so, call ahead and see what the wait time is like. It's a fairly big place, but people were still lined up outside to get in while we were there since it's very popular (for good reason). Had tons of fun here and definitely recommend it to anyone. I'll definitely be back here the next time I'm in Montreal. Show less

The bathrooms were great, each stall had complete privacy, with a proper door, and outside all the stalls was a big hand washing station. The last time I came here was around 2015, and it was a lot smaller. Now they have a basement, main floor, and upstairs. We played "Machi Koro 2", and "Century Golem edition". Some games are only in French, but they have a good mix of both English and French games. They have some board games for sale in the basement. I love this place and I'll definitely go back!
