8 months agoThe Simpsons game didn't work very well (we could only start a single player game, and one of the buttons was not very responsive). The Neo Geo cabinet's speakers were bust or something, so the sound was terrible. Tetris was OK, and the pinball machines were great as well.

2 years agoGreat staff, fun games. Very warm and humid when warm, no circulation. Only canned wine cocktails, no liquor. But they do have Jenga!

12 months agoThis is a cool bar for a very niche community. The pinball machines are a lot of fun but cost ~$0.75 each to play. Drinks are pretty good but overall menu is pretty small. If you are a nerd (in the best possible way) this is THE bar to go to.

2 years agoDropped in twice while I was in town. Nice selection of maybe ten pinball tables. The owner, Eric, plus the other Eric working the bar were both great people - talkative, fun, and friendly. Very relaxed, happy atmosphere.

Chill, get a drink play pinball. High score on atmosphere, perfect oasis after a long day, folks working here are great and selection of pinball tables is just as impressive as their beer selection. One of a kind. Looking forward to coming back.

So I'll preface by saying that I get the vibe that this place probably doesn't care, but I went in here tonight (Saturday "night," technically Sunday "morning") at 12:45 a.m. to get a nightcap and the bartender was so drunk, he couldn't figure out what beer I was inquiring about. After clarifying three times, he then damn near stumbled over to the taps (not exaggerating) pointed at the Manny's and asked if that's what I was asking for. Not even close to what I was trying to order. I was trying to order the beer from Pike Brewing. I don't typically leave many reviews, especially negative, but I have never experienced a bartender that drunk behind the bar. It was actually jaw-dropping. I understand the industry, and I don't care if my bartender is tipsy. I get it. But I have no idea how it was possible that guy could even function. Like, dude was *smashed.* After failing to figure out what I was trying to order for the fourth time, and slurring every single word he spoke, I just walked out. Something I don't think I've ever done in a bar or restaurant before. Show less

2 years agoFantastic spot. Walked on in randomly and had a wonderful time chatting with the owner, watching VHS movies, and admiring pinball and video games from the past. Highly recommend and will be back whenever I’m next in Seattle.

We gathered in a group of about 16-20 people for a friend's birthday, and the staff were super chill about us bringing in an outside cake, and about letting us set our own pace in terms of drinks, etc. Sometimes with these kinds of things there's lots of pressure to buy more drinks and increase spend, and I think that, as a board game bar, they are way more relaxed about that. It definitely increased my chances of going back for an afternoon of gaming sometime over the winter months. Thanks, Raygun! Show less
