7 months agoGreat selection of beers - Literally 40+ Cans & Bottles. Plus another 6 on Tap. Amazing Beer Garden for outdoor seating, dog friendly. Food is so yummy - Hotdogs are the best in town. They have Fig Jam, Caramelized Onions, Pimento Cheese as toppings!

Nice spot south of Grant Park where there aren't a lot of commercial spots to hang out. They have some beer on tap that are decently priced during happy hour but regular pricing and the individual can/bottle prices are a little high. I had the daily special hot dog that tasted really good but there was no price listed...it was 12 bucks plus tax/tip. I suppose that's a pretty regular price for restaurants in the city but basically $15 for a hot dog is not my idea of a good deal. Next time I think I'd skip food and just go there for a drink or two with friends during happy hour. Show less

The hot dogs are outstanding - the Red’s Favorite is also my favorite - and they have an awesome snack bar setup too. The inside and outside spaces are both great, and the owners and staff are all wonderful. Beer selection is excellent, both on draft (they’ve got 6) and the can/bottle options (they’ve got... a ton). They also have a good selection of non-beer options as well! Also, if you buy a glass you get 50 cents off every beer at Red’s - forever! - when you bring your glass. 13/10, highly recommend. I tried a sparkling strawberry rhubarb mead (excellent, and not too sweet - more like a cider than the mead I’ve had before). The mead was part of a whole gluten free section, filled with other GF beers and ciders, so this is an good spot to bring your celiac friends for a drink. We also sampled the corndogs, both veggie and beef, and were very happy. Where else in Atlanta can you go for $5 corndog night?! The patio is nicely shaded and dog friendly, with even more tables than I thought they had. Masks are required indoors, and there is no indoor seating as of September 2020 (indoor restrooms are still available). Parking is super easy. And the staff is super friendly with lots of advice on which drinks to try next! Show less

Red’s is possibly the most welcoming place you can go. Great hotdogs, sandwiches and sides, as well as a fantastic beer, wine and hard seltzer and mead selection, compliment the wonderful atmosphere. Great non-alcoholic selections as well.

Great food, super friendly staff, and relaxed environment. Recommend trivia on Tuesdays! Great beer selection but a good amount of drinks, NA included, that are not beer. Always love the fun events throughout the month too!

I am hoping that this raises you to FIVE STARS, as this place is fantastic! Visiting from Canada and I checked high rated restaurants close by and Reds came up! Always a bit dubious about places that have a 4.9 rating, but it is so well earned. As I stated to the folks behind the counter, this place is Disney Land for beer lovers. And to the gentleman who wanted the $1.00 beer, have your fill. I will take two or three unfiltered IPAs any day. And yes, you can get a cheaper dog, but it doesn't taste like this one.... I like hot dogs and I have had some really good ones and...not. These dogs are really good! High quality! If you can eat them naked and your impressed, that is a good dog.... Anyway, not sure if was leaving the cold and snow behind, but sitting out back with my hot dog, cheese and chili fries and beer was magic! Picnic tables and garden lighting ? Just fabulous vibe! Great place, great food, great staff! If time permits, we will be back! Show less

Stayed long enough for a Dragons Milk ( which I always love when a place has it ) and ended up staying to get a hot dog that is definitely worth writing home about. Wife for a grilled cheese that needs a warning and a nice thick tomato soup. It was busy because of everyone loading in for the puzzle contest and the service was so fast you would think the place was empty. The back patio area looks like an awesome place to bring one of my 6 Huskies. We will make the drive from Douglasville to come hang out as a date night that is for sure. Food and drinks great priced. Hot dog-long & skinny. Tastes quality with nice soft bun. Chili slaw traditionally good idea. It was fair tasting. Chicken salad sandwich-plain white bread wasn’t wowed. The garden is beautiful a lot of plants which we loved and it's great if you have dogs or kids. We didn't like that they use plastic cups for every drink and there is no recycling bin. Happy hour is 5 to 6 but is 2$ off from the tap beers (like 6 options) but they do have a lot of can beers and ciders, a lot! my friends found the food a bit expensive as the "elote" hot dog was $11. But they liked the fried okra. Show less

My husband and I hosted a group event (~65 people drop-in style) at Red's over the weekend, as a post-elopement celebration. We could not be happier with our choice of venue - I highly recommend using Red's as a venue, our experience from beginning to end was amazing! We had loads of support while we planned a few details from out of state - Kristen aka "Red" was quick to answer questions and send detailed information to get a feel for the beer garden space, and even met me + a couple family members to show us around on an earlier trip to GA. Our guests had a total blast - us, too!! - and Red's was everything I recalled from living in GA. The vibes were immaculate, the space was low-key and approachable while being quirky and cool - so many of our guests raved about it! On top of that, the drink options are extensive, and we had double the fun watching our guests try new beers and chat about everything they'd had that they liked! Food is casual comfort food and surprisingly delicious; it was another hit! We have lots of vegetarian family members, and there were even multiple options for them to choose from, despite the fame of Red's hot dogs. Every staff member working during our party was cheery, kind, and provided fast and excellent service. Overall, we give it a 100/10 and can't say enough good things. Thank you, Red and team!!!
