I absolutely love this place. We have gone here for New Years for years and always had a blast. We always stop in when we’re in the area for a drink. The atmosphere is great and the top golf suites and games always make it such a fun time. We recently had planned our post wedding brunch there and it was PERFECT. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the everyone of my guests had a good time. The Manager is so phenomenal to work with and is a great guy. Thank you!! Show less

I absolutely love this place. We have gone here for New Years for years and always had a blast. We always stop in when we’re in the area for a drink. The atmosphere is great and the top golf suites and games always make it such a fun time. We recently had planned our post wedding brunch there and it was PERFECT. My family and I stayed at the Graduate 2 nights and wanted to give the restaurant a try since the hotel recommended it. We tried to have dinner there but it looked like there was an event, the waiters kept walking by us without acknowledgment and there was no hostess around to let us know we were not welcomed at the time due to the event. There were no signs that it was reserved for the event only. We left after waiting 15 minutes, very disappointing. Will know next time not to bother. Show less

My family and I stayed at the Graduate 2 nights and wanted to give the restaurant a try since the hotel recommended it. We tried to have dinner there but it looked like there was an event, the waiters kept walking by us without acknowledgment and there was no hostess around to let us know we were not welcomed at the time due to the event. Felt like Cheers!!! The food is pretty decent but the atmosphere is well worth the money and time. My team and I came from Indiana for a work conference. We stayed at the graduate hotel and decided to spend our nights at Reiners! The bartender, Kim, made our entire team feel right at home. She was so kind, the service was great, and the drinks were excellent! We became good friends and even got a photo together. Highly recommend the prohibition reject drink! This place is great and if I ever find my way back to Providence this stop is a must. Definitely check out their Trivia nights on Wednesdays. That was the most fun I’ve had in a while. Felt like Cheers!!! The food is pretty decent but the atmosphere is well worth the money and time. My team and I came from Indiana for a work conference. We stayed at the graduate hotel and decided to spend our nights at Reiners! The bartender, Kim, made our entire team feel right at home. She was so kind, the service was great, and the drinks were excellent! We became good friends and even got a photo together. Highly recommend the prohibition reject drink! Was greeted by all when I walked in. Was gladly upsold Woodford when I ordered my Old Fashioned. Ordered a chicken sandwich. Quietly waited 30min before the bartender who took my order said anything to me, and it was a vague apology about the friolator. Waited another 10min then asked for the check without the chicken sandwich. No manager came by to offer resolution. No goodbyes were given or further apology when I was closing out or leaving. I asked to speak to a manager, and was met by the same barkeep who failed to offer any resolution. The bar offerings are uninspired and trapped in the early 2000s. The menu is upscale pub fair, with prices ranged from $14-28. None of this is damning. Their customer service is lazy and unintentional. They're in a prime spot on a holiday weekend and are virtually empty. Could be a classic bar, but the team seems to rely on the hotel capacity to make a buck instead of exhibiting great guest service. I waited later to speak to a supervisor, but was told after 10 min that they would not be able to speak to me. Show less

Several of the dinners came out wrong, overcooked or didn’t come out at all. The manager was working very hard to make sure we had the best experience possible. Hotel itself is still beautiful & Grand Was a bit disappointed with the restaurant. Was expecting a restaurant not a bar with a few tables against the windows, Overlooking Kennedy Plaza .. Service was slow & waiters seemed annoyed when asked something as simple as opening up the water that was served . Menu was ok, not a lot to choose from. We went with something simple. The tater tots appetizer was good but way to much for a starter. Main course we chose, a tuna melt which was cold by the time we got it and French onion soup that came out after my sandwich which as a cortesy was taken off our bill also ordered a large salad that was a bit whilted by the time we finally got it. Quaint place to socialize. Just was expecting more from a place that once held several dining rooms. More of a Pub atmosphere than fine dining like we were expecting. Must add that prices were reasonable, even saw a family with 3 children dining there. Happy for the experience, may return if in the area again. Although we specifically made reservations for this place of which i don't think was necessary unless you don't want to sit at the bar.. Terrible experience overall. Had called the day prior to order the top golf for our company christmas party. We had 13 people for a 430 pm reservation. We all got there and the bar manager Olivia said nope that it hasn't been used in months and you didn'talk to us. IT MUST HAVE BEEN THE HOTEL. I SAID NO it was the restaurant I spoke to. I called twice. She continues to say It is broken and we are trying to get rid of it. So we decided to have drinks before dinner. Multiple couples were staying at the Graduate hotel so would have been convenient. We kept getting attitude about where we were standing. We kept moving until finally we just.ended up taking all 13 people to my hotel room so we could actually have a good time. We went to leave and then were yelled at to put all drinks in plastic cups. We all did. My message is if they advertise and you call and then get attitude from Olivia is just not the experience we were looking for😒. We had planned a Christmas yankee swap. One of us won a 12 pack of beer. It was not opened we were holding to take to room. She yells you can't have that. We said we just won it and are not opening. She said to take it and wrap back up. This was ridiculous. The other bartenders were very pleasant but this overall experience was unacceptable. We were having a couple drinks to then have dinner down the street. So disappointed because I organized and was embarrassed how my company all were treated. We all understand rules and laws we are all around 35 to 50. NO need to speak that way. You want to have people come back then put a smile on and show your teeth. This is my first bad review ever in my life. Planning a special night takes time and for people to be that way just put a bad spin on things immediately. There are definitely better ways in life to relay messages to customers. Show less
