Bar server is misleading-Typical Miami scam!! I really think it's a cool place with good music and crowd. however<, When I got my bill for a round of drinks the male bartender failed to tell me and actually refused tell me that 20% tip was already added. when confronted with this he said " i don't get any of that". He said management takes his 20% tip/ I told him that is not my problem - take it up with management. Personally I wouldn't.work there if that was true. Total BS and is why Miami gets a bad rap. Bar server is misleading-Typical Miami scam!! I really think it's a cool place with good music and crowd. however<, When I got my bill for a round of drinks the male bartender failed to tell me and actually refused tell me that 20% tip was already added. when confronted with this he said " i don't get any of that". He said management takes his 20% tip/ I told him that is not my problem - take it up with management. Personally I wouldn't.work there if that was true. Total BS and is why Miami gets a bad rap. I visited this venue a few years back for a Miami Music Week event and the place was, ok. Nothing to really write home about. I attended an event this past weekend and to sum it up in one word - WOW!! The venue underwent a massive transformation. It is absolutely a gorgeous venue. They have a massive bookshelf that takes up one wall with cool art and relics, the ambient lighting is perfect, couches and tables for two are abundant, and the service is great. The evening catered to chill progressive house which blended well with ambiance the venue has created. The bartenders were nice and always smiling. Thank you Patty and Andi for your hospitality. I can’t wait to visit again! Show less

I visited this venue a few years back for a Miami Music Week event and the place was, ok. Nothing to really write home about. I attended an event this past weekend and to sum it up in one word - WOW!! The venue underwent a massive transformation. It is absolutely a gorgeous venue. ARTISTS/BANDS BEWARE: Savage Labs will use shady marketing tactics to pawn business off of your friends & fans. They are not "supporting artists". I was 1 of 4 artists slated to play a show here. 2 weeks leading up to the show their marketing manager had us pushing the event as a "free entry" concert. Collectively we had 200+ people RSVP'd to attend, many of whom were underage or in college and drove 1-2 hours to support the bands. Everyone showed up for what was marketed as a free event and was shocked when the servers and floor manager started kicking them out if they would not spend a minimum of $30 on food/drink. We were completely blindsided by this policy that was never once mentioned prior. Manager for the night was impossible to reason with and by 8:30PM the room only had random people in it, not even 20% full. Such a slap in the face to the musicians that worked hard to prepare and bring their supporters down for what could have been a great event. Shame on you. DO BETTER. Show less

ARTISTS/BANDS BEWARE: Savage Labs will use shady marketing tactics to pawn business off of your friends & fans. They are not "supporting artists". I was 1 of 4 artists slated to play a show here. 2 weeks leading up to the show their marketing manager had us pushing the event as a "free entry" concert. Collectively we had 200+ people RSVP'd to attend, many of whom were underage or in college and drove 1-2 hours to support the bands. Everyone showed up for what was marketed as a free event and was shocked when the servers and floor manager started kicking them out if they would not spend a minimum of $30 on food/drink. We were completely blindsided by this policy that was never once mentioned prior. Manager for the night was impossible to reason with and by 8:30PM the room only had random people in it, not even 20% full. I've been to Savage Labs in Wynwood a few times already and I always have a great time. If you're going on date night or simply catching up with friends, this spot is perfect for every occasion. From the decor to the outstanding cocktails, I'm really impressed with Savage Labs. It has a very cozy / laid back feel which is really dope. On select nights, they also have live music playing. When it comes to the drink menu, I'd highly recommend ordering the Savage Mule. I haven't gotten a chance to try their food selection, but I'm looking forward to giving it a try on my next visit. I've been to Savage Labs in Wynwood a few times already and I always have a great time. If you're going on date night or simply catching up with friends, this spot is perfect for every occasion. From the decor to the outstanding cocktails, I'm really impressed with Savage Labs. It has a very cozy / laid back feel which is really dope. On select nights, they also have live music playing. Our hostess, Albany, was also really cool and fun! This is more of a nightclub with live entertainment most nights. As such, the food was much better than typical nightclub fare, and very economical menu prices given the presentation and pretty good quality. As in most places, some menu items were tastier than others, but nothing we ate was worth raving about except for the Taquitos. There could also be more platters. Service was ok at best, but I believe they were short staffed. I was a little taken aback by them asking for a credit card before you're even seated. It appears they've had too many guests walk out on their tabs without paying. Manager however was very amenable to me not having to do this. There was also no toilet paper nor paper towels in the unisex rest rooms. They should stay on top of things like that. Despite some of these things, I definitely recommend you check it out. The only issue I had is with the servers, the service is very slow and they don't want to give you a receipt prior to paying you have to request one. I was charged 20% service fee but since you don't see the receipt until after you pay I paid 40% service fee. When I asked them about it they got very upset, I order a prosecco which was $12 dollars and they charged me for Burrata & Prosciutto which cost $16.63 I didn't notice until I paid , I didn't want to keep arguing with the server. Apparently this is a usual trick to getting more tip but I myself will not go back even if they had great live music. Be cautious and ask for the receipt prior to paying. Show less
