Provides a great atmosphere for the local gaming community, but also very reasonably priced for anyone just wanting a quick coffee and a snack. Menu is varied and offers plenty of comfort food not found anywhere else in town.

May have being due to staff Workington day u went and knot knowing alot stuff there but was polite and friendly, couldn't get latte and the coffee I had was extremely watery, prices was abit high on sweets and fizzy drinks, hot food was okay seemed abit mixed with what I had though. The atmosphere was good overall, and the tables are clean. There is also a minimum spend amount on card. Show less

1 year agoWe passed this cafe one night on an evening walk with my grandson on a visit to Halifax and received a warm welcome. On the second visit to Halifax my grandson had taken up Warhammer as a hobby. He wanted to go back and paint his characters as he had seen customers doing on our first visit. Again de... Read more
We passed this cafe one night on an evening walk with my grandson on a visit to Halifax and received a warm welcome. On the second visit to Halifax my grandson had taken up Warhammer as a hobby. He wanted to go back and paint his characters as he had seen customers doing on our first visit. Again despite reorganisation taking place in the cafe we received another warm welcome from staff and customers. A very special space and very special cafe. 9 months agoI visit every week, very kind staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. Food is relatively cheap, and it's easy to talk to both staff and customers. Very relaxed environment.

4 months agowent in today and was met with some very helpfull people that helped me with kanto pokemon tin's and even took out his own time to just help me find out what packs was inside the kanto tins would definitely be buying from here more often if u go passed make sure to check it out 5/5 from me
