2 years agoNot sure what this is supposed to be. But it is more like a hostel and youth center. Shuffleboard in the basement and fully packed with teenagers.

Not really a shuffle board bar. The bar is located in the hostel and the shuffle is downstairs. the 2 boards were well kept and it was very fun!

It was a little odd at first - it was basically just two shuffleboards which were downstairs in the generator hostel - not so much a bar dedicated to shuffleboard (in fact we had to go upstairs to order drinks?). I booked in to play shuffleboard with a group of friends yesterday afternoon. It was a little odd at first - it was basically just two shuffleboards which were downstairs in the generator hostel - not so much a bar dedicated to shuffleboard (in fact we had to go upstairs to order drinks?). We began to play and at first it was quite fun. Bear in mind, my friends and I are in our thirties - when we were scoring, we were cheering for one another and just having some fun. Pretty shortly after, the bouncer came over and gave out to us for being too loud, he commented that ‘we were not in the phoenix park’. It honestly dampened the mood, we played the rest of our game quietly and then we left. Wouldn’t recommend Show less

I booked in to play shuffleboard with a group of friends yesterday afternoon. It was a little odd at first - it was basically just two shuffleboards which were downstairs in the generator hostel - not so much a bar dedicated to shuffleboard (in fact we had to go upstairs to order drinks?). Service was not acceptable. We ordered our food, and had to wait 40 min before it arrived. The servers were not that helpful and could not tell us when our pizza arrived. We had to get them to check multiple times as we could see the pizzas but they wouldn’t give them to us.

They gave us some small things that would beep when our food was ready, but we waited 20 min or more and still nothing. We had to go INTO THEIR KITCHEN and grab our own food. The pizza was half cold. There were still 10 people who still hadn’t gotten their food yet and they didn’t get it until about 15 min later. The staff were rude when we asked about our pizzas and looked annoyed. Overall bad service and would not recommend coming here! Show less

6 months agoThis place was terrible! Slow service, crappy food that gave one of us stomach problems, dirty, bad shuffleboard tables, way overpriced. Don't waste your time or money here.

8 months agoWe were a party of 14 and booked both tables. It was great fun and we had no problems at the venue, the staff we helpful and it was all booked online. Where else in Dublin can 14 people be entertained for £20 (not counting drinks lol)
